La Roche-Posay Effaclar BB Blur with SPF 20, Fair/Light, 1.01 Fl. Oz.

I did a ton of research after my tried and true Dr. Jart's Dis-A-Pore was discontinued. There are rumors that it will return but I'm reluctant to believe that. This product was recommended as a substitute after much research and I thought it was worth a shot. This is the real deal. I was a light-medium with dr Jart and I am the lighter version of this product. I love how it feels on my skin, it's like a matte velvet. I am definitely acne prone even as I approach 30 and redness occurs often. I'm very pleased with how natural and yet polished this product makes me feel and look. My only complaint would be that $30 is pretty steep for 1 ounce of the product. However, it works and that's what is most important to me! Update: I've had this product for almost 6 months and wear it almost every day - I would say a little goes a long way and that $30 is totally reasonable considering how long it has lasted!

I cannot say enough good things about this product. I bought this with some reservations about the price/small size of the product but have NO REGRETS. A little goes a long way. Someone told me my skin looked "photoshop-ed perfect." I have a lot of redness in my skin and am very pale. Initially, I thought the color was too dark but if you really work it into the skin it blends beautifully to your natural skin tone. It is easy to apply (I use my clean finger tips) and looks so natural people are shocked to hear I am wearing makeup. 110% worth a try.

This stuff is great, it's enough coverage to just throw it on and go. It's so light, and definitely reduces oil, I've only had it for 2 days so I can't say whether or not it makes my skin breakout. But typically la Roche products are awesome on my sensitive combo skin The only drawback to this product is the fair tone, is suuuppper light. I am blonde haired light skin, green eyed, sorta freckley person. I burn and then tan sorta well but never dark. And the fair/light color ghosts me out quite a bit. But I'm afraid the darker color will be too yellow. I just bought the darker tone. I'll probably mix them. Contouring the fair tone helps the wash out, but for me, that's not the point of a BB. I just want minimal coverage so I can quickly put it on and not worry about anything. I think I like the color of the tinted mineral sunscreen better. We'll see about the other tone. Maybe the fair tone will work better for me in the winter. Over all it's great but I spent $60 on BB cream which is a little outrageous.

I am such a skeptic about this sort of stuff. I’ve used many different bb creams, concealers, and foundations that have fallen short of the mark and I was very very wary of purchasing this. Sometimes people overhype things and I end up spending money on things that don’t even work!! Long story short, I am 100% sold on it. As someone who has struggled with painful hormonal acne for several years now I am always scared of putting anything on my face, but this has not caused any break outs or dried me out any more than I already am from my acne topical cream. It blurs out all imperfections - and acne scars - and looks just like your skin. I can’t believe how well it works. I’ll never not purchase this as it’s now become essential for whenever I am wearing make up!! So yes, believe all the reviews because it’s the truth!!

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!!! It really does have the consistency of a light mousse, and it goes on so evenly! I have combination skin that changes in dryness and oiliness through the month and by season, but this gives very consistent coverage that doesn't make me break out! It gives my face a matte appearance (but not flat in color) and blends well with my other make up (blush, bronzer, etc.). Great for hiding bumps, acne, and redness too! It also doesn't crease up under my eyes. I am usually the lightest or next to lightest shade in foundations (neutral undertones), and when I first squeezed some out of the tube I thought it would be way too dark/tan for me, but it matches my skin perfectly! The coverage lasts all day for me without reapplication.

Makes my pores look smaller and my wrinkles look bigger! I have very fair skin the but light/fair makes me look a little ashen. I had high hopes :( Update: This product makes my skin break out. Why did you continue to use it after giving it a less than stellar review you might ask. I guess I'm cheap. I continued to use it sometimes just under the eye because my pores are not an issue there, and the coverage (opacity) of this product is good. But then the next day I am sorry because I have actual pimples on my cheeks the next day. Just a warning in case you have sensitive skin. Mine is not. In fact this is the only "foundation" I ever used that makes my skin break out.

So far so good! I just received my product yesterday (13 Apr 16) and tried it today. I wanted something that provided coverage and had spf in it. I suffer from UTCD which is similar to Lupus. As a result, I always have a red facial rash, etc and often don't feel like doing full make up, but this is perfect. It was very light and fluffy and I only needed a tiny bit. It spreads really well. I'm very impressed. The price is a little steep, but for what it is so far, it's worth it. I used Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Pressed Powder over top and I was told today I looked "fresh faced". I am definitely interested in checking out more products by this brand.

I have so many liquid and powder foundations, you name it I've tried it! They all settle into the pores on my nose to the point where sometimes I almost feel it looks better without makeup. I'm not usually a bb cream person because I have quite oily skin, but this stuff is magic. It is very similar to a silicone based primer, but works better. It has surprisingly good coverage, I just add another layer to problem areas, and spot conceal if needed. However, this doesn't have the best staying power, but none of my foundations ever stay on anyway! So I set it with powder, either loose or even a light layer of a powder foundation and it looks very nice. Also sometimes if I want to wear a different foundation I'll use this just on my nose area sort of like a primer. I am 28 with oily skin, minor breakouts, and an nc20 with a lot of redness, which this evens out, for reference.

I love this BB cream - a little goes a long way and it provides very good coverage considering how light and mousse like it feels. It has good staying power too, better than most foundations.

This is the best BB cream ever. My dermatologist prescribed me and it's impossible to find at Apothekes, so when I finally found it here, got it right away! Gives you a very good soft skin effect, perfect for oilish skins, although mine is not, works perfectly.
