For me this tool is great. the only downside is IT IS LOUD!!!! I wish it had a muffler or something. But great tool. I don't use it for a drill i use it to buff. it's great for that.

A beast, well made and fast!
This pneumatic drill is a beast. I find it well made, very powerful and fast. The drill is quite loud, but all pneumatic tools create significant noise. My recommendation to Dewalt is if they can provide more variable touch to the trigger. It is very difficult to get partial speed; it wants to be off or wide open on. For the noise and the lack of variable touch on the trigger, I am removing one star

I would not recommend this drill
Drill is a little heavy but works well. Unfortunately it is REALLY loud. Had to stuff extra sound deadening material (same as was already there, just MORE) into exhaust port.Now it is at least tolerable. Also the fwd/rev lever seems a little weak and is awkward. I would not recommend this drill.

Very good but limited in power
I bought this for my hobby making Bourbon barrel furniture. It requires riveting all hoops to each stave at 5 levels. About 350 per barrel. This is a challenge with cordless drill getting hot and batteries drilling 1/4 in through steel hoop. This drill doesn't not have the power. It can drill smaller pilot hole, but not do the bigger hole as I desired

Well built drill
Strong well built 3/8" Drill and powerful enough for most shop like conditions. It does have a specific sound when the drill is being used is slightly louder but I will say it is also slightly more powerful than its competitors. A+

Great drill but very loud
Working in an aluminum fabrication shop and just bought this thing. Look and feel durable but damn, is it ever loud! Wish it was a little quieter.

No variable trigger
This drill is horrible, it's either full RPM or off. Useless and I will be returning. It's unfortunate as I am a Dewalt fan
