Works well for the undercoat of my Lab. It does cut the top fur, if the comb is held more upright.

Love this dog brush! Didn't realize how much fur my dog had until I used this brush. My golden retriever hates to be brushed but didn't seem to mind this one because it doesnt pull at their coat.

I've owned these over the years for my long-haired Chow Chows and for a Shiba Inu -- both breeds shed like crazy! The FURminator is necessary to keep your dog's coat not only looking good, but FEELING good to your precious babies! It's recommended to be used weekly, along with regular brushings, which is the best way that has worked for me. With the push of the top piece, the comb releases the pet hair for easy grooming!

My typical daily routine was to: 1. Use the Hertzko deshedding tool 2. Use 2 Evercare pet hair remover gloves 3. Use an Evercare magic lint brush 4. Finish up with an extra sticky tape lint roller AND THERE WAS STILL FUR ON MY PUG! I just finished using the FURminator deshedding tool and in less than 5 minutes I could tell this was much more effective than all my other deshedding tools used together. I wish I had known how well this tool worked before I wasted money on the previous devices. If you have a pet shedding problem I would highly recommend starting with the FURminator before you try anything else. The only minor glitch (and of no consequence to me) is the defurring guard doesn’t work very well but it does serve well to protect the teeth which need to be sharp to work properly. Just keep the guard down unless you’re grooming with it.

I couldn’t believe how much fur I was able to brush off my dog with this tool. The push button to release the hair is handy also! Highly recommended!

Eu tenho um bulldog frances e ele soltava MUITO pelo e tinha um odor MUITO forte. Já tinha tentado vários shampoos específicos pra raça, ração, medicamento, remédio homeopático.. enfim! Inúmeras coisas pra ver se adiantava e nada... e na primeira vez que passei esse pente nele melhorou 200%! Sério, o pelo dele praticamente não cai e ele não fica mais com odor forte, antes dava banho toda semana, agora consigo dar a cada 15 dias tranquilamente... foi a melhor coisa do mundoooo esse pente, realmente é uma benção! Super recomendo
