Despicable Me 2: Make a Minion Reusable Sticker Book

After seeing-- and loving-- Despicable Me 2 in the theaters, I got this sticker book for my 8-year old grandson. He normally mainly likes Star Wars and things like that so I was pleased that he was so interested in making these great little minions with this sticker book. We spent a lovely couple of hours placing these minions and talking about the movies and the emotions of the movie. I had almost as much fun as he did!!

For those who love Despicable Me and the minions, this is a treat, or would make a great gift. It has many pages of stickers. Some include stickers of the different characters, while others give you sections of minions so you can make your own minion. There are glossy pages where you can position the stickers, with backgrounds relevant to the movies. A lot of fun in a little book!

I bought this book for my 5 year old son who is very into Minions. He loved it. I had to read the pages for him and explain each activity. I'm not sure that he understood every activity exactly, but he had fun with it. The images are "true to the movie," but generic (i.e., no bad Minions, "Anti-Villain League" only mentioned). Stickers are only removable from the high-gloss pages if you reposition them almost immediately AND are very careful. If you wait a couple days, forget it. They're stuck permanently. There are 7 activities, all involving stickers: "make a Minion" (all yellow pages where you can combine Minion face parts any way you like), "make a Minion beach" (beach scene where you can stick Minions in various beach-y pursuits), "make a Minion costume" (various Minions are dressed in costumes, but you have to complete their costumes with appropriate accessories), "make a Minion and friends gallery" (stick the right "portrait" of Gru and the girls in the correct picture frames), "make a Minion sleepover" (girls' bedroom scene where you stick the girls and accessories), "make a Minion spy team" (accessorize Minions in various action poses with various weapons to help Gru), and "make a Minion pileup" (stick the Minions in a stack so they can "reach" a shelf of cupcakes at the top of the page). The book is pretty good, but I gave it 4 stars because the stickers are not really "reusable" and they are all bundled into 4 pages in the middle of the book. It would be helpful for younger kids if the stickers are grouped and labeled specifically for each activity.

I bought this for a three year old- she loved it and was able to have some creative fun with it. I think it would be ok for a minion fan up to age 6 or 7. I would have enjoyed it- and I'm an adult :).

Me and my grandson really enjoyed this sticker book, which the stickers are not reusable. If you try to remove them from the page then you'll damage the book and/or sticker. We were thoroughly thrilled with this sticker book - could care less that it wasn't reusable - it was fun while it lasted.

Wonderful book! My son and I played with it for over an hour when he first got it. He loves it. The stickers are a little tough to take off the page initially, but that's the same with any sticker book. So far so good on them truly being reusable too.

My daughter loves stickers, and this book entertained her a few different times. On the inside of the book, you have the capabilities to make scenes with the different sticker combinations. Really fun to play with.

You take the sticker out and it won't stick anymore!!! Kid is disappointed :(
