If I use this outside will people think I'm a nutcase?

Just start training in ranger panties. People will be too busy calling you sir to notice.

1st product image shows the USA flag - where is this made?

So USA Fist isn’t made in the USA. Weird.

Is this a good gift for 4 & 8 year old kids?

Yes, there 2 different soft balls that they can play with, also there are 2 harder balls that fit for adults. This set fits kids, adults, and professionals so I can ensure you a great family time :).

Can you please make a video with a mcuh stronger and shorter elastic, and a heavier ball? I'm eager to see those results.

Heavier ball is significantly heavier. For example, after using it for like half an hour, if you're not used to beating up a punch bag, might have bruises. Sorry, no video.
