In the past, I have been taking 2000 UI of Vitamin D3. During the COVID epidemic, I got an okay from doc to double that dose. However, exceeding the upper limit of safe intake, 4000 IU (100 micrograms) per day, is not recommended. Larger doses have not been linked with any additional health benefits, but could lead to too much calcium in the blood. My doctor recommended alternating higher (5000 UI) and lower doses (2000 UI) to ensure I don't take too much. Expiration May 26, purchased December 23. Great quality easy to swallow beneficial worth it

First thing I check for: seals. This bottle had an outer clear plastic wrap seal, and an inner foam/foil seal. Both intact. Another thing I like, the desiccant inside. Very important for those of us in humid climates. The caps themselves are small, clear, easy to swallow. The ingredients list Soybean oil as the main ingredient, so if you're allergic to soybeans, this is not for you. The dosage is also pretty high, like very high. Be sure that's what you need/want. I've had no allergic or other reactions to them (taken with meals). I will take them about once a week. All in all seems to be a good product, well made, quality.
