Original Salt Water Taffy (4.5 lbs) by Sweet's Candy Company, Delicious Ten-Flavor Assortment

Exactly what it should be...the right amount of softness, it is unbelievable how smooth each one tastes. I got this to add to the assortment to my Halloween handouts this year but took the bag for myself after trying just 1! So selfish & uncharacteristic - A fitness instructor who does not take to sweets and lost it! The colors, different tastes and for me, they truly do not taste overly sweet. I have taken several and mixed the tastes for sheer fun. Due to the softness, they do need to be kept away from hot zones to avoid melting. Although I will say they are nicely wrapped in waxed paper to avoid over-sticking. I am having a blast with this candy and plan to continue having them handy ALL THE TIME. Extra work-outs will be required but worth the fun!

Loved these. Were nice quality taffies, and had great flavor. Out of the huge bag there were only maybe 2 or 3 candies that were somehow not packaged correctly or otherwise oozed out of the packaging, so no complaints there. The only complaint I would have about the product is the distribution of the flavors. The bag I got anyway seemed to have a lot more chocolate flavored ones than any other one flavor, and this happens to be my least favorite flavor, just such a bland cocoa flavor. In general though, a great quality product, with some tasty flavors, and I would purchase again.

With COVID-19 I wasn't expecting this to come. My spouse & I grew up eat salt water taffy. Today is his birthday, I was so happy he could have it. It's a big bag of goodness. Flavor is fantastic. Living in the south I would not order this closer to summer. It came in during a cold snap which was a good thing. Heat makes it too soft and ends up messy. I highly recommend this to salt water taffy lovers.

So far we really like the flavors and the price. However, there is a lot of taffy on the outside of the wrappers that kinda glues pieces together. When picking up one piece there will be 3 other candies attached to it. The taffy floating loose in the bag acting like glue has mostly been chocolate. Aldo, when unwrapping the taffy there is a lot of tiny pieces of taffy that breaks off. I’ve made a rule that taffy has to be eaten at the kitchen table or outside because I am tired of tiny colorful sticky taffy bits on the fabric of my couch, carpet, or floor. This breakage makes me believe the taffy may not be fresh. Lastly, one of the fun things about salt water taffy is playing with it and making new flavors by twisting two or three flavors together. This taffy doesn’t do this well, it breaks which is also a sign of old candy. Oh, well, this was a good try, but I probably won’t buy this brand again. I grew up eating salt water taffy on camping trips. I even went to a salt water taffy factory once as a kid to see how it was made. This is the 3rd brand we’ve tried this summer (we’ve tried Taffy Shop and Buccee’s) This one is in 3rd place.

I bought other Taffy 2 different brands I didn’t know that their is a difference in candy until yesterday. The thickness is a big difference in each candy. The other candy tasted like over done flavoring to each other different size candy I noticed that right away this is my opinion everyone has their own . This is the taffy you buy at Santa Cruse beach boardwalk.

It’s pretty good overall. Unfortunately, several pieces were attached to one another. Also, every piece makes a huge mess when you open it- flakes.

Lots of different flavors and the quality of the candy is delicious. I highly recommend it

Great variety of flavors including the “classics”. The office loved them ... 40 people ... not one complaint! So much fun, beautiful, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet!
