Autel OBD2 Scanner MS309 Universal Car Engine Fault Code Reader, Check Engine Light and Emission Monitor Status, OBDII CAN Diagnostic Scan Tool

Easy to use. Worked great in my 2018 gmc. Picked up the issue even when the dealership missed it or maybe they just over looked it. Now I can tell them what to fix.

Needed a cheap OBD scanner that I could keep in the car while I monitored when the car finished all the EVAP system checks so I could go get my state inspection. Autel is a known good aftermarket brand. Easy to use and read. This is not a bi-directional scan tool so its not supposed to be able to do a ton of diagnostics. Code reader, freeze frame data, and system monitor checks. What more could you ask for at this price.

This device is a must have! Self sufficiency is power. I have an exotic foreign vehicle and the OBD2 scanner works perfectly. I don’t have time to go to the dealer or wait on anyone. I detected the issue, cleared the check engine light - since I know it’s safe to drive temporarily until I get to the dealership. This tool is great for everyone - especially women and first time car owners. It will save you money and time because you know exactly what the issue is that needs repairing. No one will be able to pull wool over your eyes again. Durable and easy to connect. Great purchase!

Was going to write (with one star): MaxiScan MS309 is not on the manufacturer website. It is not listed in the current products nor in the legacy tab, which means no user manual. But, I was using the included QR code on my phone, and that site must be outdated? Went to their webpage on laptop and MS309 is supported with downloadable user guide. I have a new gas cap and had Trac Off and Check Engine lights on Tacoma. MS309 gave me 2 codes related to that (P0441 and P0455) with description. MS309 worked great and easy and on first try.

I bought one since my mechanic friend recommended it. Easy to use. Good price. And you can zero out old codes if you need to. Great for getting your own diagnosis and not having to stop at Auto Zone or going to a shop.

I have many of these scanners that I leave in family cars. They have always worked great and keep me in the loop of what I might need to make repairs even though I'm not there.

Well worth the investment I've used this several times for different issues and in my opinion works very well does its job!

Compré este pequeñín para revisar códigos de mis carros en casa. Es muy rápido, y aunque es muy básico, bien vale la pena; pues lo podemos transportar en la guantera, o con la herramienta. También resulta una gran ayuda si te gusta hacer mecánica en casa, o para dar seguimiento a fallas intermitentes o recurrentes. Todo muy bien. Sin embargo, no pude encontrar la marca Autel por ningún lado ni en el producto, ni el empaque.
