I don't know diddly about tapestries. I use the needles with coarse thread to repair canvas covers. The needles are large, have big eyes, and the points are blunt. Perfect.

Great quality needles when you get the right size delivered
The needles themselves are high quality, but the second time I ordered these I got all size 26 needles even though they were labeled as supposed to have 2 each of 22/24/26.

Amazing quality
These needles totally upped my ability to make neat even stitches. They are sooo smooth…they slide in right where I put the tip with no argument. I originally freaked over the cost($2.+ a needle!) but they are worth every penny. Very very pleased.
