Did my Mom write this book?
My Mother would many times try to teach us lessons using Mexican Proverbs. And while this book was a little archaic, it does give great translations of the "dichos" that I constantly heard while growing up. It is a definite read for anyone that is looking for alternative ways to teach a lesson.

This is really a thin little book with much information in it. Liked the terms and sayings, but wish there were more of them. Overall, a good purchase.

It's great to be able to have this treasure of "dichos, chiquilliados, adivinanzas, and creencias" They are stated in Spanish, literally translated, and then given the English equivalence of each adage. A real treasure!

Great memories from way back when.........
Reading this book "Dichos" sure brings back memories of when I was growing up; my mom and my grandma. I recognized so many of the "Dichos" as I was reading through the book of my mom & grandma saying these "dichos". Those were the good old days. This book deserves 5 stars.

Using it just for the fact that i'm a court ...
Using it just for the fact that i'm a court interpreter and judges use idiomatic phrases and they're all here, also have the translation to them

This is a really great book; would recommend it to any native New Mexican, or to anyone interested in Dichos in general...
