Great replacement

This pump was easy to assemble, and works exactly as it should. Please read the height it will pump before purchasing. It's perfect for my project, but it may not be for yours. In advance of questions: I installed it a few hours ago, and those are potted plants. It has already cleared considerably, in a short time, despite me moving things around. I've had container ponds before, and this filter/pump works as well, if not better than far more expensive filter/pumps. *The pump is two months old, and has stopped working.

Working great so far. This is for water changes on my nano reef, beats having to heave buckets around. Seems well constructed with a nice pre-filter if you would have need for that. Pros: • Cheap • Has a great pre-filter for other applications, such as clarifying the water after a change out • Fairly quiet for a pump of its size and type Cons: None thus far!

We have stainless steel steam tray pans in our front and back yards to give our dogs water. We have automatic timers for hoses that overfill them several times a day to keep the water fresh and cool, however we still had a problem with algae and crud building up, and potentially bugs (mosquitos, etc). We added a fountain pump to the pan to keep the water moving, and that is working well to keep the water palatable for the dogs. I used a couple of unfiltered cheaper pumps, but our well water was too much for them and we needed pre-filtering of the water entering the pump. I found these pumps that have the long filtered intake and started using them, and they work great. I actually lay them on their side so that they 'swirl' the water in the pan rather than create a fountain effect, because the pump on these is so powerful it had a tendency to drain the pan if the pump migrated closer to the edge. We now have two of these and so far they're working great. I assume that if you were to use them for a pond our fountain they would work similarly well, highly recommended.

The pump works great! Clears everything up, then you go to take out the pump to clean it and everything instantly falls off the sponge and back into the pond. So much so that you can’t even see in the water anymore. So it clears it, then ruins what it did instantly

this is one of my favorite products for my small out door pond. due to the very hard water in my area the scale builds up on this product, so i must keep replacing every 3 yrs or so. Product is good quality but my water is NOT.

...Which, unfortunately, was only 7 months. We installed it in a small outdoor fountain, and had it connected to a timer so it only ran during daylight hours. We cleaned it regularly and the fountain never ran dry. After 6 months, it seemed to develop a short and would stop intermittently (even when we bypassed the timer). Then, it just died. Reading the reviews of other pumps, it seems that quality control is all over the map, with many pumps not lasting much more than 1 year. If that's the case, I'll try something cheaper next time.

I had a small filter and it wasn't enough when I made a bigger pond. Within a day my water cleared up. After you clean the filter (which I forgot) is amazing the clarity of the water. I love my po d and watch the fish all the time. It's relaxing to watch and hear the water. Very therapeutic

this was bought last summer and it work very well on my pool keep the water from moving the chlorine also this was a great buy but now i am debiting to order from ama zon causr=e their delivery service is not good at al \l

Compre esta bomba con filtro para un estanque de peces, ya tiene 3 meses funcionando ininterrumpidamente y trabaja como el primer día, la recomiendo ampliamente.
