This socket looks ok and, once you have managed to fit it then it works fine.Firstly, you need at least a 35mm deep back box.Secondly, the terminals on the back are not large enough to fit two 2.5mm² cables - so good luck if you have to fit this into a ring main. I had to use a junction box to join my ring main cables together and then connect this socket as a spur.It should have been a 15 minute job to fit the socket...... Not nearly an hour!It does work though and looks fine.Third, as mentioned in the description, the remote needs a battery as one isn't fitted at the factory. I have bought many items made in China that come with fitted batteries. Seems a bit mean to not provide one

These Livolo tempered glass sockets look so lovely and modern in our new kitchen, we have purchased 3 of the double sockets with USB ports and one of these double sockets with no USB ports. Out of the 3 usb double sockets one was faulty as it had no thread on one of the screws that hold the wires in place and it involved a lot of emails complaining as they wanted the item returned and for me to reorder a new one but the price had increased by over £20 as I got them reduced in the Black Friday sale but they would not replace the item at the same price I paid. The branding on the sockets is inconsistent, I see some people have reviewed this item and their pictures have the branding Name on the bottom left corner, 3 out of the 4 sockets I bought have this branding, this one has none, personally I would rather they all have none but since the first 3 had branding I was surprised to find this one did not, I would prefer they all looked the same. Personally I think the remote is a bit of a gimmick, cannot think of anything that I would need a remove for to switch on, we will not use that function . These do need the deeper back box, easy to fit if you know how and have the right back box. Overall I love these switch’s but reduced the star rating due to the inconsistent branding and faulty screw

Great sockets. Just fitted 6. Tempered glass finish with touch switches. Glow blue when off and red when on. Make an audible click when switching on and off.Make sure you use a deeper back box.I have yet to try the remote function.Will be getting some more for the rest of the house.

Looks great, however difficult to install. The holes for the wires are too small

Absolutely stunning, great price too. Very easy to fit. I was so impressed I bought 4 all look great in recently refurbished kitchen.
