Nice having more support on base of cane. More confidence on uneven or snowy surfaces. Cushioned handle is comfortable for longer walks. Easy to adjust height. Highly recommend.

I bought the HurryCane GO for my 87-year-old mother-in-law. She broke her hip in January, and also suffers from vertigo, so she sometimes needs some extra stability when she's out on her walks. She lives on a tight budget and didn't want to purchase it for herself. So, I bought it for her. She was impressed with how light the cane is and the fact that it stands alone is a plus. The ergonomic, off-set handle fits nicely in her hands and she said she feels more secure using this cane than the cheaper one she bought after her hip had healed. Some of the other reviews stated that the ball joint needs to be "reset" in order for the cane to stand by itself, and we did find that to be an issue. Having read the other reviews, I instructed her on how to rotate the foot around until it went back to its normal resting position. She did that a few times and quickly became a pro at getting the cane to stand by itself. I give it a five-star rating because it made my mother-in-law happy and she says it is much better than the cane she had been using. The cane came in a long box that was easy to open. No instructions were included, but it's pretty self-explanatory.

I enjoy this non-foldable version of the Hurry Cane. Unfortunately at the time I ordered this item it was only available in black. There is no other non-foldable cane available with the free standing technology. Building your own using accessories is possible, but it is just as expensive as buying the original non-folding Hurry Cane.

I really love thiis cane...but I do have a few issues with it...first off this will be my 4th one in a few years....they don't last long...mine is the hurrycane go...the one with the foam handle which I need because of arthritis...trouble is the foam splits or peels...the last one the handle moved down the cane...one before that the foam came away from the cane a spun when you would apply pressure making it impossible and dangerous to use....one before that handle split and the pivot on the bottom came loose and kinda spun in the base...trouble is they don't make parts for it...cleaver so you buy a new one...I really love the way the cane works and would not be without it...thus my fourth one sure wish they would make parts for it....can you hear me manufacturers ??? Overall if you have mobility issues like me this cane is a must just be prepared to buy a new one before you think you should...one thing I use this cane all the time....24/7 so that could add to the wear and tear of it....I would give it 5 stars except for the foam handle tearing the way it does ...also other reviewers have said that too so not just me...but this cane has made it possible for me to garden...walk across my property...and walk on terrain...also it helps you reach stuff on the top shelf at the grocery store...good luck and happy walking !!

The HurryCane was recommended by the Physical Therapist. While there is a collapsible travel cane, it did not appear as sturdy. My husband adjusted the height. The handle is cushioned, and I have had no issues using this. The only challenge is setting the cane, which has a three point base, onto carpet. It will fall over if I don't make sure the cane is not stabilized on the carpet.

Great cane. I broke my ankle this winter. I am still not getting around very well. I got this cane because it was a pain trying to get my walker into restaurants and then: where do you put it while you are eating? A cane was a better idea for short distances, and this one fit the bill. The first cane I bought was from Walgreen's and although it worked OK, was straight, and not nearly as comfortable. This one, with the kink near the handle is so much more comfortable. Everyone asks me if this is the miracle cane that stands by itself, and I say Yes, and show them that it does stand alone. There are instructions on how to reset it, so it will stand. Read the instructions first. This is great improvement over canes of the past. I think someone who actually needed to use a cane designed it! If you have a problem and need to use a cane, just spend the extra $$ and get one that works. Or send your old one to a charity, and get this new one that is so much better and more comfortable.

I was not going to write a review but decided I need to alert others to a possible danger. I have ordered this cane twice. The first one was starting to wear on the foam handle, so I ordered a second one. The new one was slightly different, seemed to be improved. But I noticed right away that the twist stop on the shaft would not stay tightened. I really liked this cane otherwise. I tightened it daily to make sure it was secure. Until one day it wasn’t. The shaft of the cane collapsed on me, I fell onto my knees. It took me about 20 minutes to get up. It was a scary and painful experience. I will not buy another cane of this brand.

I have been using one of these canes since 2021. My Mom wanted a cane that was sturdier than the regular cane she was using and requested that I buy her one of these. Only difference is that mine has a straight shaft. Mom wanted this style. Costs more, but is worth it in terms of quality. Cane stands by itself on a smooth floor, but not on my carpet. Get the original!
