This is the most comfortable menstrual cup I have used by far. I have sensitive skin and a low pain tolerance. This cup is soft and does not have a traditional rim, that seems to causes me a lot of pressure and pain during my cycle with other cups. It's easy to clean with mild soap and water (the fancy special cleansers are not necessary) I use Castile soap and rinse with water and wipes on the go. I also sterilize it every month with boiling water. It's easy to apply and remove and you really don't notice it there at all. It's soft and sturdy. It's saves so much money not buying expensive pads and tampons every month. When applied correctly and when using the correct size, it will not leak. TMI alert: I sleep with it comfortably all night during my whole cycle with no back ups, without any leaks problems, which proves I trust it to work without fail. Advantages for me: 1) The texture of the silicone is much softer/smoother/silkier than any other cup. As far as I know, no other cup has a texture like this one. 2) Completely smooth outside: no ridges, holes, or thick edged rim (although the rim is stiffer and thicker than the body of the cup, but doesn't protrude outward from the cup). 3) The rim is angled, so more comfortable while wearing; no bladder or urethral pressure. 4) Tapered V shape vs. bell or bulbous shape; again, more comfortable for me. 5) Stem cuts off and trims up nicely. 6) Easy removal. I have also tried/used Sckoon, MeLuna shorty (soft from UK), Juju, Super Jennie, Diva, Eva, Femmycycle, XO Flo. Unfortunately, it took me a LOT of trial and error to find what worked and what I like best and currently use a few different cups- the Lily, Femmycycle, and Super Jennie are my favorites. They are on the softer side (which does make them harder to pop open). Through all my trials, I discovered I have a low cervix and a sensitive urethra and bladder. If the cup is too large, long, or firm, I can actually feel it inside me. I would have to take it out just to be able to empty my bladder completely. Also, I would I have more and worse cramps with the firmer and larger cups-very uncomfortable. Overall, I like the features of the Lily cup the best. I don't feel this cup at all. It's actually longer in length than most other cups, but I managed to trim and shave the stem to a nice taper so it is very comfortable (I cut the stems off all my cups). A side note- once the stem is gone, there are no grips at the bottom of cup to assist with removal, but I have a low cervix, so it sits lower and I have NO problem with removal. In fact, I think the Lily is easier to remove than my others because of the V shape. I have not experienced any leaks with this (or any) cup. The only things I feel could be improved are if it came in a stemless version and more color choices.

I bought both the size A and the size B of the Lily cup original after the quiz on Put A Cup In It website suggested it for me and my high cervix. (Which I didn't know was even a thing!) I had tried the Diva cup on and off through the years with horrible success. It was just too hard and migrated too far up that getting it out was nothing short of traumatic most of the time! So I first ordered the size A of the Lily Cup and it is MUCH softer and more flexible than the Diva cup. It is also much MUCH longer than both sizes of the Diva. The first month I tried size A I had a heck of a time getting it to get a seal. Especially on my heavy day, it leaked horribly. The other days it did a so-so job. I didn't want to give up on the brand as the cup itself is very well made and its so soft and compared to how irritating the Diva was for me, the Lily was a godsend! So I did some research and decided to order the size B as it is a bit larger, the rim is wider, and it is a tad firmer overall than the smaller size. At first this month was going fantastic! The first day I got the size B open every time and got a good seal! PERFECT! I was excited! But then my super heavy days started. I ended up over filling the cup twice and after that I just could not get a good seal anymore. I don't know if my walls were too slippery or if my cervix shifted or what. After some trouble shooting and research I found that your vaginal walls can change during your period so I ended up switching to the large Venus cup as it is a bit firmer and it opens much easier. (I had found that brand while researching cups and the price was right to order it the same time I did the Lily size B) When I did get the Lily cup to open and seal, it was great. No problems. But this seemed, for whatever reason, to be impossible on my heaviest days. When it did seal it was easy to break the suction and remove the cup. It was comfortable to both insert and remove as well as easy to reach! (big issue for me and the Diva cup!) I also noticed that because the Lily cup is so soft that when it's inside it almost seems to collapse in on itself. The rim itself is open and it is sealed but the cup itself is all squished together and doesn't keep its shape much at all. (At least from what I can tell if I feel around) This is probably fine on light days but I think it is why it over flowed on my heavy day really fast. Because of this it is really hard to get the cup to open if it doesn't right away. With the Venus cup I push against the cup and wiggle it around a bit and it opens, the Lily cup I have to remove and try again. That being said, the cup works if the seal can be achieved but it IS harder to get it open right and failure usually ends up in taking it out, rinsing and trying again. Granted, I may just need more time with the cup to become perfect with it but I think on my heavy days the ticket for me is using the Venus cup large while the other days the Lily cup seems to be just fine. (At least that's my game plan since I have both brands!) In conclusion the Lily Cup really is a great cup. It's well made, it's very soft, and its long for women with a high cervix. However, I'm taking off a star for how difficult it is sometimes to get it to pop open right and get a good seal. Also, at least for me, it seems like it squishes together making the cup hold less. Just some points to consider. What works for me may not work for you. But I am generally happy with this cup, I just wish it worked perfectly every single time. I will keep it around (especially the size B) for my lighter days.

I refer to myself as "ungifted and unskilled," or in other words, physically shallow with a low, prominent cervix. I also have an exceptionally heavy flow. I purchased the size B as a result of the flow, despite my internal size. The shape of this cup shows such promise in that it hooks into the posterior fornix under the cervix, whereas most cups don't follow a typical vaginal shape. Its length, I figured, I could deal with by trimming the stem - I cannot review its technical 'squeeze this to release' aspect as a result. The softness is also appealing since it's less likely to exacerbate cramps. My first problem, via either some mechanism or my anatomy, is that I cannot get this to actually hold volume. Objectively it appears as though the size B should manage a comparable amount to my Saalt, however I'm seeing leaks in a significantly shorter time frame - I am literally writing because the leaking woke me up a few hours into sleep. It's also entirely possible that the relative softness of this cup could be disallowing it to open fully, decreasing its holdable volume. However, if it was any firmer, the next thing would be worse: The inner lip also has such a sharp, unpleasant angle to it that makes truly emptying and cleaning the cup an enormous hassle, and it can push against my cervix in a way that I feel it...it's a bad feeling. I imagine the squeeze from the smaller size would be worse. Ultimately, I feel that this cup is probably exceptional for some people, I'm just not one of them. Of course, it has all the benefits of a cup and if you're fundamentally different from me, it may be totally and completely worth looking into. I don't regret trying it for its unique shape, for its ability to push less against things that cause more cramps, it just doesn't work for me, and that makes me sad. The only other cup I know with its shape on the market is the Fun Factory cup, and since a few years ago, that's getting harder to find. I will continue my search, however, and will be looking into another cup with an interesting shape ("Kind," regular size) in the near future.

So, I’ve struggled with endometriosis since 13. Ish. I got my aunt flow at 12, I thought I was gonna die from cramps at first it’s that painful and I’ve had three kids! The cramps I get are similar to contractions almost and it’s awful. Then to make matters worse it’s heavy flow, I hate it. Tampons make it worse, it makes the cramps worse so I figured thelily cup would too . Nope! It doesn’t hurt me with cramping like the tampons . With tampons I had to also wear a damn pad! Bull, I know! This has been going on since I was 13, it has nothing to do with how many kids I’ve had. I got the larger cup because of my flow and then I also have a long vaginal canal not wide.... long. I also have a tipped uterus so my crevix sits back not forward in case anyone else has that and is worried it won’t work! I also bought a pixi cup , that one I can feel and don’t really use it. This one took me a bit to get comfortable using but I just wiggle it and twist a bit and it’s in place and I do NOT leak. If you leak you probably have it in wrong . This thing suctions like WOW. I’m Pretty in tune with my body because we tried to have a baby for 4 years, so I got used to soft cups and stuff. It seems big and scary but I promise, you won’t regret buying it! It is longer than other cups but not too much. Works great for me thank you for making this!!! Never have to spend $$$ on tampons again😍😱 Less waste as well!! Much lighter material than other cups not as wide . I have a pretty small set vaginal canal so I needed a less wide cup as I can feel the other ones rubbing ugh! I feel this is a lot of TMI 😂😂 but look what we are talking about lol hope I helped anyone wondering about the lily cup Just keep practicing and you’ll get it ! Great product!

I had high hopes for this cup as I took a quiz and was told this would be the best period cup for me since I have a retroverted uterus and a cervix that's very far back and difficult to reach. I'm in my 40s and have given birth vaginally more than once so I opted for the larger size (B). Many years ago I used a Diva Cup and had success with it for many years but found it stiff and uncomfortable because I have IC (Interstitial Cystisis) and I found that the Diva Cup put too much pressure on my bladder. I went back to using tampons and pads for many years but am so tired of them, especially now that I'm in my mid 40s and have been having some pre-menopausal issues like heavier periods coming more frequently and at unpredictable times. There's been a couple of cycles where I've had to buy more than one box of pads and tampons just to make it through. Instead of trying another Diva Cup, I decided to give the Intimina Lily Cup a try. Right from the start I knew this was NOT the cup for me. I could not for the life of me get this cup into the right position and it would not expand no matter what I did (spinning it, squatting, moving the cup side to side, etc). It was also very painful and I do not remember the Diva Cup ever being that uncomfortable and I never had difficulty getting the cup to open up. No matter what I tried with the Lily Cup, the sides remained squished together and I was leaking everywhere. I watched multiple YouTube videos, hoping they would help and tried all of the different folding techniques recommended but NOPE! After waking up in tears because I was in so much pain with horrible cramps, I was done. It seriously felt like a tortue device. I thought about trying another cup, or maybe going back to the Diva Cup, but instead tried the Flex Disposable Discs and love them! They are so comfortable and super easy to insert. I will say they are very messy during the removal process and I would never attempt to remove them in a public restroom but I work from home, so it's not a problem. I love the Flex disposable discs so much that I just ordered the resuable Flex Disc and really hope it works as well as the disposables because the disc seems to be a better fit for me than the period cups.

I wish I’d started using menstrual cups sooner, but for years I preferred not to think about my period. I was sort of in denial. Earlier last year, I developed a fibroid that caused very heavy bleeding. After three incidences where a large gush overflowed my pad and soaked through my clothing, I took to the internet to find a solution and discovered menstrual cups. I purchased the Diva Cup and successfully made it through a few months, but my fibroid grew recently. It pushes on my bladder, which pushes into my vaginal canal. Since the Diva Cup is hard, I felt the constant need to pee when I was wearing it. Then, about 2 months ago, I started losing the Diva Cup in me. Recently, the worst happened. My Diva Cup went so far up, I couldn’t reach it, despite trying to push or change positions. I tried for 3 hours and was cramping from all the pushing. I was crying and bracing myself to ask my boyfriend to help me when he got home. I was scared the suction from the cup would pull out my IUD, too. I curled up under the blankets and waited. Finally, after relaxing for 30 minutes and pushing while squatting, it came out. I researched why this happened and learned I have a very high cervix, and found the Lily Cup. I read other reviews of devoured menstrual cups and decided it was worth another $40. It came in two days (btw, lost the diva cup both those days). When I put it in, I was first amazed at how I didn’t feel like I needed to pee. Not only is the Lily Cup longer, but the stem more rigid than the Diva Cup (even though the cup itself is softer), and easier to grip because the ridges on the stem are bigger. It is a little more effort to clean. I must have a really high cervix, because even the Lily Cup goes beyond my reach, but with gentle pushing comes out easily. One issue is that it makes a strong suction so be sure to break the seal. I have a retroverted uterus, and it still works for me. So far, I am very happy with it. P.S. I am seeing a doctor about the fibroid, she prescribed medication to reduce the bleeding, since I was miserable and anemic. If you are having a lot of bleeding, see your doctor. I wish I had sooner. Also, if you lose your cup to a high cervix, try to relax (I know, it’s hard). That really helped a lot, because you’re more lubricated and pushing will be more productive.

I’ve used about 5 different brands of menstrual cups and have had varying degrees of success with all of them. This is the only cup that I have found that seems too long. I can feel the tail on the inside and out. The menstrual cups should be so comfortable that you forget you’re wearing one. I can really feel it, all day long. Every woman’s body is different and I know it is difficult to engineer a cup that will fit 100% of women. I have had 3 children and ordered the appropriate size. I was looking for a cup with a softer ring. The ring is soft and I can fold the cup in a C fold for the best results. But the length from the lid to the bottom of the tail is longer on one side than the other. The lid should probably he placed with the longer side towards the back of your cervix. But I can’t confirm that I am able to control that placement. Sometimes I think I get it right and I have minimal leaks. Other times I think I didn’t get it placed just right and it leaks, heavily. All in all there is great potential for this product, but this cup needs to be shorter and I might have better luck if the lid were flat and not at an angle. I do love the softness, the solid color, and the lip on the lid which helps prevent spillage. Great potential but disappointing execution.

Pro: Pratica, inodore, ti scordi di avere le mestruazioni, puoi tenerla su fino a 12h, è dotata di una comoda custodia, per niente fastidiosa. Contro: questa è la seconda volta che la uso e devo capire bene come posizionarla, perché alle volte esce qualche macchiolina alle volte niente. Ragazze, provatela perché è spettacolare. I've tried two other types of cups with various success, but ultimately kept looking for the cup that best suited my needs. I've finally found it! Out of the three it is by far the easiest to insert (which I didn't expect because it's quite soft for a menstrual cup). I didn't need any practice or adjustment period, as I have with the other two cups. Very easy to use and I've had no accidents whatsoever. More importantly however, it has also been the easiest cup to remove (which has been my main issue with the other cups I've owned). Appearantly, my cervix is rather high and I've had problems reaching/removing the other cups in the past, making my feel anxious about using them... But the lily cup fits me perfectly. I can reach the stem quite easily, and at the same time the stem is not too long and in the way. That would also be my advice to others: Keep your height in mind as well, when you choose a cup. The manufacturers only tell you to choose cup size depending on your age and if you have had any children or not. My theory is that height matters as well. But please keep in mind it is just a theory. But for those of you reading this review and who may have experienced problems reaching your previous cups, this works for me and I'm 1,75. Another customer left a review stating the cup "was huge" and I almost didn't buy a lily cup based on that review. I'm glad I did though - I find the cup itself is no bigger than other size 2 cups. It's longer and in a different shape, but not bigger and not huge. Only slight disadvantage: the "collar" on top makes it a bit of a hassle to clean, but it is my understanding that it is also the collar that keeps it so safe from accidents. So I can definitely live with that!

I love the way this cup feels. I also like the style of cup, it works well for tilted uteruses etc. I will be using this as my go to cup. I only recommend it for high cervix women though. Great product!
