Holds hair very well. Original spray bottle squirts not mists. Bought 2 different spray bottles to mist with. Still mostly squirts. Verified 2nd bottle with water mist. Then tried Crew on same setting. Still only mists so well. Its the fluid itself that defies misting. I like the smell personally.

If you hold the can too close or linger in one spot, you will quickly saturate a small area of hair. The key to using this successfully is to hold the can a good 10-12 inches away from your head and keep your hand moving constantly and quickly. Once you master this technique, the concentrated delivery actually proves very effective for targeting specific sections and ensures minimal product is wasted. Once you adjust to the powerful delivery system, the performance is excellent. Highly recommended for a reliable, non-crunchy, medium hold.

I use this on my granddaughters hair as she has numerous fly away hairs!!! It holds amazingly!

Product works well to quickly set my hair. I would give it five stars for the priduct. Three stars given because the bottle applicator sprays the stream instead of a mist. The packaging was poor. I ordered two bottles and one came without a protective cover.

If you are looking for a lightweight holding spray that doesn't matt down your hair or make it look heavy this is it. Spray it on your hairbrush when your hair is wet or spray it directly on your hair to brush out, it works fine either way. And yes you can brush/comb out your hair and lightly apply as a finish. This product works well for men as well as women.
