Jiffy Hand Mitt 1040

I don't have the Jiffy garment steamer brand but after looking at other brands of hand mitts, this one had everything I was looking for. Garment steamers really get hot and I was trying to use an oven mitt to keep from burning my hand. Not only was I trying to use a right-handed mitt and I needed one for the left hand, but the oven mitt cuff wasn't long enough. When I'd put my hand under the front of a shirt to steam it, the steam would burn my wrist and my lower arm. The Jiffy Hand Mitt is comfortable, roomy, has a long cuff and was exactly what I was looking for.

This is steam resistant for sure, but it is so bulky that it is hard to hold the item you are steaming. I wanted it for holding sleeves and it is next to impossible to do anything but pull tight the clothes to get a good steam.

It is like having a mobile ironing board and it protects my hand from burning as well. The mitt is well made and good for even tiny hands like mine. Would never have guessed that it would have given me this much assistance. Do need to learn how to use it effectively just like the steamer.

Steam easily penetrates the material. Be careful you can still easily get burned if you keep your hand still while using near the steam source.

I can't say enough how much this mitt has protected my hand while steaming. I don't know how I steamed without it.

This steam mitt was perfect..delivered quickly and keeps me from being burned. I knew professional cleaners had a secret, and this is it!No more steam burns, and I can stresteam my garmets much more effectively.

Little difficult to use

Garment steamers really get hot. I looked for something to protect my hand - that's why I bpught it. When I tried it I'd put my hand under the front of a shirt to steam it, the steam still burned me...so it didn't work.I don't recomend this product.
