Love the color! Great journal. The paper has a bit of a slick finish, so I am not sure how certain pens will write on it, but I have had no problem with using glue tape to put colorful paper on them.

I purchased these journals a few times within the last couple years and have a few colors (lined, dotted, and blank). The paper is the perfect grain for drawing, writing and documentation. I love how my completed books look stacked next to each other. I've also decorated the outside an inside covers and the book can hold washi tape and other sheets of paper without splitting the binding. Plus the added pocket in back holds up well even are it's been stuffed full. Thinking about getting a bulk set in the future after I finish this journal. So far, I've completed four (4) journals with daily writing, and have one (1) for artwork. Great for pencil, ink, and acrylic pens.

This is my 6th Paperage book. I love the quality. I use it for both journaling and art— using a variety of materials such as watercolor, ink, and marker. Marker will bleed to the next page, but that’s not an issue for me just stick a piece of cardboard under. The paper handles mixed media work , I’ve glued a lot of stuff into these without issue. The weight of the paper handles watercolor fine. The book is the perfect size. I’ve never had a spine break. The covers are slick and a nice blank canvas for if you feel like decorating them.Overall I’d recommend these books. They’re affordable and get the job done.

This is an absolutely beautiful book. It is very well made, has a very lovely feel. Great piece of work by people who understand quality. I will buy more.

I bought this notebook primarily because I loved the bright yellow color… The pages are a bit thin though, so it shows quite a bit of ghosting from any sort of pens or markers when flipping the page. That being said, it seems like a pretty sturdy notebook, I love the added features of the elastic strap to keep it closed and the coordinating attached bookmark ribbon. If you are only going to use pencil, ballpoint, pen, and other fairly dry inks, I think this would be a great choice at the price point!

I do art/creative journaling. This means I will use anything in my journal. This is a found gem and will continue to use it for my daily journaling. Best value and size for me.Let's start with the only negative. If you use a wet medium prepare for paper wrinkle. That is the only negative thing I can say.Positive:1. I have never had bleed-through. Occasionally there will be a little ghosting when stamping with Archival. Everything else I have used has not bled. This includes sprays, India inks, stamping inks, assorted pens & markers, watercolors (including brushos), and walnut stain. I don't pre-treat my pages (gesso), so this is just media vs. paper.2. Paper is strong even wet. No matter what I have done to a page it may wrinkle but it has never torn. I use matte medium to attach things. I spray the page before and after using watercolor pigments. I have never had a page not hold true to its original size and integrity.3. Signatures are sewn so pages are in there tight. I have not had migration of wet media via the signature threads.4. I like the size to use as a daily journal. I do a double spread each day and it works for me. I have been journaling for over 20 years and have used everything from comp notebooks to expensive mixed-media books. It is so much better than most, but if you factor in the cost it is really tops. I still keep mixed media books for projects, but for a daily journal, this is it for me for the foreseeable future.5. I like the elastic closure. If you do anything like I do it is nice to keep it closed, but my journal never finishes up flat because of all I put into it.

I have kept myself organized most of my life with notebooks of various sizes that have helped with journaling, planning events, parties, vacations, projects and holidays. My method for organizing nearly everything has been passed on to friends associates and family. It’s neat and easy to keep notes, itineraries, recipes, gift lists, attendees, etc all in one place. I am so happy they are so readily available in so many colors too.

Love writing in them. I have given some to other people and they make a great gift.

I have been using these for a while now and they are terrific. Tough under pressure and use - they hold up. The pages are great to write or draw on - paper is fairly thick. Worth the investment.
