Gadgy Hot Air Popcorn Maker 1200W - Oil-Free - Retro Red

This is a great little machine. I bought the 40g size and it is perfect to make two large bowls of popcorn. It's quite noisy but it only takes about 4 minutes so it's not too much of an issue. It does seem to throw out quite a lot of unpopped corn but I just put it back in on the next use. Good value for the price.

Great fun

It's good and it does the job but makes a tiny portion of popcorn and then you have to wait 15 minutes for it to cool down so you can use it again. It's my first ever popcorn maker so I don't know it that's what they do. It's very easy and quick to make the popcorn but as you make it it goes flying everywhere and some kernels come out unpopped. The kids love it though.

Nice and easy to use

This item is really good value, it does what it says i would recommend getting one for the cupboard under the sink. It's great for half time treats

Used every couple of weeks for about 4 months (so about 8 times), then started making a high pitched sound accompanied by a burning smell, the popcorn at the bottom had burned and the motor or fan burned out also. Followed all instructions precisely and didn't overfill. Have tried to get in contact with the manufacturer as would usually do that before writing a review but haven't been able to get through. It was a birthday present for my 7 year old son and he was disappointed as with the first 8 times it made perfect popcorn.

The popcorn maker advertised 1200 watts but it is 900watts. Quite a lot of popcorn come out unpopped. 40g is enough for 1-2 people Cooks a batch of 40grams in a speed of 3-4 minutes. Each time you make popcorn have to wait 15mins to make the next 40g. Easy to clean, taste very dry,

Small popcorn unit which uses no oil

I purchased this popcorn maker on August 28, 2024. Initially, it was fantastic—made decent popcorn, and while the capacity was small, it was enough for one, maybe two people. However, about two months ago, I noticed a batch tasted awful. I assumed it was the popcorn itself, so I bought a fresh bag. It was slightly better, but still not great. Since then, no matter what brand I use, the popcorn has a foul taste. Additionally, the plug is not an Australian standard and requires an adapter, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, it started off well but has become unusable, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
