Strong, a little tippy in the woods
So far very durable. I have grossly exceeded the size of log that you're supposed to use on this, and it's held up well. I've had a 10 ft long 8-in diameter iron wood log in it, and the only complaint that I have is the stabilizer foot could be wider. But it does work and work well.

Excellent product
Iโve sawed quite a few logs on this saw horse now and love it. My back feels great and my saw chain is staying sharp. Very sturdy and well built. Easy to use and makes bucking logs quick and easy. Assembly was easy, but because of previous reviews that reported issues putting it together, I actually read the instruction. Would recommend.

Worth it
This really is a great tool. The assembly instructions are terrible. But more than once I said "where have you been all my life" while using it.

Exactly what I needed!
In cutting firewood I always struggled with keeping the log stable. I usually used my left foot to steady the log but it still moves and it felt unsafe. I saw this Olympia log holder and ordered one to give it a try. Took me about an hour to put it together. They use hex screws and one of them is quite large and I didnโt have a wrench large enough but I improvised to get it to work. Not a huge deal. Once I got it together I tried it out with a log that was about 8 inches in diameter and about 12 feet long. It held it perfectly! I was able to cut easily from both sides and the log didnโt move a bit. Cut a few more of various sizes and it worked great. I feel much safer cutting my firewood now and my back doesnโt hurt this morning!

Amazing purchase
I live in the woods so I cut down dead trees and cut up my own firewood regularly. This thing is an awesome tool that I'm glad I came across. Assembly wasn't too hard and I got to using it right away. So far I've put pieces of trees about 12 inches or so and 8 feet long on it and it holds them steady no problem. No more of the chainsaw getting pinched as i get close to cutting thru, no more holding the logs steady while i cut. This has made cutting up the trees and branches super easy and fast. It folds up nice and slim when not needed and then just unfolds and needs 2 pins to be ready for use. I recommend this to anyone who cuts up their own firewood and all regularly.

Seems great; questionable durability and safe operation
Revised Review 9/20/18: Unfortunately, this thing is just not up to par. After retrying it after making my review below, it does not even come close to handling logs safely, and is cumbersome to use. The logs I tried are about one-third what it says it will handle. When I did get them cinched in with the chain, and started cutting - shakes while you are cutting with the chain saw - NOT good and unsafe. NO WAY can this thing handle something 19 feet long and 661 pounds!!!! And, just try to do this "easy 1 man operation"! Hah! Part of the issue is the chain. While a great idea, it is a pain to feed just right and then if you don't get the right lengh, you have to get it all out of it's "locking" tubes and start over, while a big log sits there ready to tip it over! And they say it can do "multiple logs" - no way. You'd spend a half hour trying (trying) to get everything to stay there and get the chain to keep them there. Oh well, sorry to the manufacturer - had high hopes, but while a great concept - not well carried out in actuality. Returning as I write this. Originally review: Received this after reviewing at least two other similar "sawhorses" like this for log / firewood cutting. The reason this was chosen was primarily due to being able to lift end of log onto the unit versus "threading" a log through various openings. The difference here being you lop the chain over the log and into the two "locks" below. First, it assembled fairly easy, for what it is. Diagrams on the instructions were somewhat helpful, but seemed wrong in relation to orienting the "jaws" that cradle the log - had to unbolt them completely after following their diagram, but no too much hassle - could have been clearer. After assembling, though initially it seemed like sturdy construction and configuration, seemed a bit woobly / almost flimsy. Note, this is before ANY use! Finally got a chance to use this on Sunday, 9/16. NOTE - it is rated for 661#; 19 foot long; 13-5/16" diameter log. 1) did a fairly small log - 6 to 8" diameter, about 6 feet long. 2) did a larger log - 12" diameter, but exactly 8 feet long - less than HALF the "allowed" length. Notice I haven't said much about it!!! I am going to try this again today, but ........... PROBLEMS: This thing is amazingly (unsafely) wobbly laterally. I was afraid the bolted joints, or even the welds, or perhaps the lightweight steel channels used were going to collapse, bend, or .... Especially with the larger log, it was unwieldly. But, it did hold up and so far (so far) no real sign of failure. Now for the really unsafe part - I could not get the chain "locks" to work very well. I reviewed their video and saw an immediate "lock" there, but could NEVER get it to do it that easy. I found myself having to cradle this large log in my arms somewhat while "nursing" the chains into their locking tubes, then lifting up on the end of the log while "jiggling" the log above horizontal to get the chains to lock. Also tried other smaller logs to see if I could get this to work better - sometimes, sorta. Seems like one end of the chain should be rigidly attached to the unit and then only one lock for the other end to got through. Also, seems like the one end could slip into the side of a lock rather than having to feed the chain through the tube; and, if you feed it through too much, the lock DOES work! (have to carefully ease it back up through the tube or it catches on the lock - wow, too complicated. So, as indicated, going to try this more the next few days and edit this review. I have until 9/29 to return this; and yes, am contemplating that, even though would have to disassemble the darn thing. Most concern is the safety. And, I am a bit angry with myself because it seems I did not read the negative reviews that seem to address very similar issues. Most of these were several years ago, so am assuming they may have changed something, but still seems to be questionable. Only a few reviews that are recent for 2018. We will see.

Good idea; just needs improvement.
Decided to buy this item, even after reading the reviews. This sawhorse was shipped quickly; it was ready for me before I was ready for it. Simple to set-up, but I could see right away that there was no way the support brackets would stay on the pins, so for the interim I stuffed a 1" x 4" of suitable length between the the brackets so they wouldn't come off. That problem will be solved when I drill a couple holes through the legs to accommodate some slender hitch clips. It takes a short while to get the hang of sliding in a length of cordwood just right. The swinging teeth are sharp and hold the wood well, but I have found that pieces less than 3" diameter require some fiddling at times to get them locked in. The teeth are made of soft steel and BEND EASILY. Don't attempt to pull your wood back out or exert too much downward or upward pressure. I was able to easily straighten the bent ones with a couple of pliers, but doubt that practice can be repeated often. I just might weld-in some backing rod to reinforce the teeth, but the manufacturer would be wise to offer a heavier-duty product. The sawhorse was quite helpful in reducing a small mountain of cordwood I had accumulated; reducing the time bending-over with the chainsaw and making for a safer operation. Right now it's folded-up and hanging on a nail waiting for the next job. After the first use, I can say I'm satisfied with the product, despite the short-comings mentioned. Prospective purchaser's might want to review the competition if they're looking for a heavy-duty, commercial product.

exactly what I wanted
Ignore my son in the background (lol). I like it. I hate cutting wood from a pile but hate it more cutting from the ground . I found stacking 3 or 4 small logs work or 1 big one. Practice using it I only helped me get better. The instructions need to be improved and wish they just used reg bolts instead of key hole. Had to use vise grips to hold the big bolts (they were all metric). I gave it 5 star because It does exactly what I need it to do. Matter of fact, I might buy a second one so when Iโm cutting on one I can have somebody prepare one while I cut so I can go from sawhorse to sawhorse. I feel is worth the money to get one. O, and it folds up nicely, hang it on the wall if you need.

Works as advertised. Works well.
Surprised how easy this holder is to use. Sure beats trying to cut logs on ground and propping them up with other logs. No assembly was required. Came folded flat for shipping. Just have to rotate 90 degrees and connect 2 diagonal supports with wing nuts. Just as easy to take down and fold flat for storage.

Works great, needs stronger tangs.
This thing is great. Love it. Makes sawing limbs incredibly easy. I found that the pointed tangs a bit soft and tended to bend too easily in my opinion
