Eliminates carrying a large inflatable to the boat when fully inflated
Used for airing a 4 person towable. Worked great an could air it right on the boat to eliminate having to carry a large and heavy towable tube

Works well
I recently used the Airhead Air Pig Pump, and it exceeded my expectations. This pump hooks up directly to a 12-volt battery, making it convenient for use on the go. I connected it to my boat battery. The Air Pig Pump made quick work of inflating a large pull-behind tube, two paddle boards, and several floats. The power and efficiency of this pump are impressive, saving me a lot of time and effort compared to manual pumps. The Airhead Air Pig Pump is an good choice. It's easy to use, and a must-have for boating.

I bought the one that hooks to your battery on your boat I have a huge 8-ft tube to take to the lake it'll inflate it in less than 4 minutes go by your one

IIT GETS WAY TO HOT!
The pontoon boat we bought specifically said, do not pump them full of hot air after using this pump for less than five minutes. It was blowing hot air.

Best for the Price, But Still Some Flaws
This air pump is great for its small size, but not the most powerful one I've had. I've also owned the AHP-120S (Super) AIRHEAD AHP-120S Super Pump for Inflatables, 120V as well as the AHP-120 AIRHEAD AHP-120 Air Pump 120 volt I found this pump to be much better than the AHP-120, but I prefer the AHP-120S (Super) because it's so much faster for blowing up inflatables. QUICK OBSERVATIONS Power Consumption: 3.5A / 470 Watts Pressure: 2.2 PSI Cord Length: 10 feet (no ground) Hose Length: ~2.5 feet PROS -SMALL SIZE: This air pump is pretty small (much smaller than the AHP-120S) and light. It's easier to move around than the AHP-120 as well. -BUILD QUALITY: The air hose seems to be better quality than a lot of air pumps I've seen, and the motor sounds pretty good when it runs (doesn't rattle). -VALUE: Though this air pump is far from perfect - I still find it to be the best pump in its price range. I definitely prefer the much faster AHP-120S pump though, and ultimately returned this pump in favor of the larger one. I also found the higher PSI of the AHP-120S pump to be beneficial to me, but this air pump might be enough depending on what its used for. CONS -OVERHEATS EASILY: The pump seemed to overheat kind of easily for me - after using it for a while the air output would get pretty darn hot as well as the unit itself. If you get any sort of resistance (as your inflatable gets filled more) there isn't enough air flowing through the unit to keep the motor cool. -NOT ENOUGH PSI: This pump really struggled to blow up anything more than pool toys for me - it didn't have enough power to inflate a larger balloon more than a foot or so. If you look closely there are a couple of holes in the air hose - I assume these are here to keep the resistance low and ensure there is enough air flowing through the unit. I don't like this as there is a lot of air that gets "wasted" by going out these small holes instead of into the inflatable. The larger AHP-120S air pump didn't have this design - all of the air went into the inflatable with that pump. -NOISE: I measured this pump at 90 dB, which is pretty loud. I found the more powerful AHP-120S to not be any louder than this pump. Despite the flaws I listed, I still decided to give this unit four stars because there isn't really a better alternative that I've found at its price. If you can justify the cost I definitely found the AHP 120S to be superior though.

Compact but powerful!
This thing pumped up our big Airhead (pull toy seems wrong but what do we call them?) inflatable so fast. Also I used it to try and pump up my Body Glove paddle board. It did ok getting it started but the paddle board needs to be under a lot of pressure to feel like a real board and the valve is designed to not over-inflate an inflatable. Sooooo, it couldn't proper pressurized the paddle board. Duh. So I'll need something else for that. For now inflating the paddle board is just part of the workout. :)

Works very nicely
Not just a cheap Chinese knockoff. This baby really does the job and doesn't struggle. Pay a few dollars more and get a unit like this that works when you need it to. Plastic won't fall apart after the second use! You feel confident that it's going to perform for you, and it does. I've thrown away all the old cheap units I had, and the plethora of spare parts gathered for them.

it will probably be fine. If you really need your tube or other ...
It is much quieter (which is awesome), but the pressure isn't as much as the other model. It struggled with inflating our Aquaglide Fiesta to a firm level. For basic inflatables -lounge chairs, etc, it will probably be fine. If you really need your tube or other large inflatable hard as a rock, i would buy the other model - http://www.amazon.com/AIRHEAD-AHP-12HP-High-Pressure-Pump/dp/B000OF92KA/ref=pd_sim_468_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=1WAABTDZQJ131Y3CKRFS

Waiting for boat season in Ontario Canada but have tried it out in basement and very powerful. Looks like it will work great.

jadore cette petite pompe cest une merveille pour souffler des tubes gonflable, je le recommander a tous

Out of the box, the air hose had holes drilled into it ( i am sure they are not meant to be there) that lets air escape, rendering the pump useless. It improved when i taped over the holes, but air gets forced out around the switch. I expected much better quality for $90.

Very compact Works great for all inflatables We use it for our shock ball 3 person towable and our party island.

As advertised. Would have preferred a pump with a little higher pressure rating but it is adequate for my inflatable boat.
