Functional and pretty darn big
I like that this screen is fairly big, so my giant window gets to be open about 1/3 of the way, which is perfect. I like that it fits said giant window well and slots into the recesses of the window to prevent bugs from squeezing in. The screen isn't the most durable. With the first use, it was coming loose from the metal frame. I used some packing tape and fixed it. Other than that, no problems with it and it works as intended.

It keeps the bugs out of the house
It’s strong and fits in the window and it doesn’t look bad in a window and it’s ajustable for the size of the window

Edges
Pretty good, unfortunately it did come undone at the edges so it separated from the wood, and I had to buy something else to fix it but it’s done a good job so far

Coulda been 5 stars - missed by 84 seconds and 5 cents
This could have been a 5 star 18X45 screen. I opened the box, it was in a plastic bag, intact, and when I opened the bag and took the screen out I was thrilled: METAL SCREENING!!! (I have 2 cats.) But when I went to remove the label the screening pulled out of the channel in the wooden end piece - exactly like another reviewer said happened to them. Why? There was no spline to retain the screening in the screening channel. (Please Imagine the great Sam Kinison saying that last sentence if you would.) Unbelievable. Shoddy and, frankly, disrespectful of the customers who buy their screens. I'm no screening replacement maven but, having just beefed up a screen destroyed by 20+ years of 4 cats, I had plenty of spline and the spline tool so I laid in some spline. Took 84 seconds to do both ends (I timed it) and (obviously) 36" of spline - 5 cents worth. So end of the day the manufacturer is a company with very little respect for its customers or, I have to say, for their company and themselves. BUT: The screen is perfect (now) and worth buying especially if you have cats even if just to protect the regular screen in the window - if you don't mind being treated shabbily by the company and have 5 cents worth of spline and a spline tool (or a screwdriver) laying around and 84 seconds. Bottom Line: 1 star. Missing 5 glorious stars by 36 inches of spline and an extra 84 seconds of assembly work. (Probably more like 10 seconds for someone who does it 100 times a day. Or an hour, more like.)

functions as it should
It does exactly what it's supposed to do 🤷🏽♀️ No complaints...some have complained about a hole being there after the tag comes off, but if you don't yank it off violently it should be fine... Nice and tall too...the cat is happy too, it's about as tall as he is, so he has lots of room to look and he doesn't block the cool wind from coming in like the last screen thing I had which was smaller. I've had it for about a month now...no mosquitos, but little bugs. Yay 😊

I'm happy with it, but it's not super durable.
I purchased four of these screens for my apartment, and I've had mixed results. Of the four, two came damaged (with holes in the screens) and had to be reshipped out multiple times. On the largest of the four screens, I just gave up after the third reship came damaged, as the return process took literal weeks of re-orders and re-ships. The screens couldn't possibly be easier to install--just open the window, insert the screen, expand to fit, close the window, move on. That said, after a year or so they've become difficult to open--maybe because there's a buildup of dust/rust/whatever, but even after a thorough wash, it's still kind of janky. I'd probably buy them again because the price is right, but I wish they were a little better.

Old ideas live on sometimes!
This window insert fit my project perfectly. I remembered something my Dad did in 1950 to install an insert in a window with a Window fan. With his idea and a little ingenuity and a small molding strip from the hardware store, the project fit just perfectly.

Yes, I can feel the breeze again!
This screen works perfectly! After getting the run around from my super about replacing my screen I bought this and it serves its purpose. My window won’t close with the screen in, but it is beyond simple to take in and out and the coverage is good, no gaps, no bugs getting in, just fresh air. Exactly the solution I was looking for.

Great screens that do the job
These are exactly as expected and do the job of keeping the outside out but letting the air in. The fit much better than similar screens I previously used and are clearly more durable as well.
