TAMASHII NATIONS Bandai Stage Act. 5 for Mechanics Stand Support (Clear), multi (BAS56788)

This company has a few different stands available, they're meant for lightweight 6-inch-ish figures. This "Act. 5" version looks like the most robust, having a reinforced lower section. The lower section "clicks" in an arc and can rest in 7 positions; straight up and 3 "clicks" leaning forward or back. It can swivel at the base. You can attach the claw bit directly to it, or add an extender between them. The extender isn't as sturdy as the thicker lower section, but with clever positioning you can make the stand support heavier figures. This is true of a lot of these kind of stands, it's important to balance the figure on there so mechanical advantage doesn't make the stand's arm sag. The friction of each knuckle joint can be adjusted by simply turning the small screw. It's satisfying to finally use an official product, not just another poorly-made clone. I appreciate not having to snip random burrs or deal with pre-rusted screws lol. The parts all fit together snugly without feeling like something might break. I like this stand, though I think it needs to be a little more robust for McFarlane-sized figures. The clicky bit at the base could be stiffer, and the pegs that connect to the extender plus claws could be thicker. While I don't regret buying this stand and will def use it, I still like wire/gooseneck versions more, even if they tend to be a little more wobbly.

It's a very good stand (stand's), and there are lots of hing joints, allowing for you to get creative with whatever it`s holding. HOWEVER, I don't recommend anything heavier than S.H.MonsterArts Kong (2021), because that's what I ordered this for, and after hours of positioning, I finally got it to hold him in a pose, but it's really wobbly and I'm scared he's gonna fall any second. I recommend you buy this, though. just don't use it for anything heavier than Kong.

I do figure reviews on YouTube and just recently got into SHFiguarts collecting, and these are a godsend! Makes for fantastic display options for these figures. My only gripe is that you gotta be more gentle than you'd expect. The peg for the arm on the stand comes loose pretty easily. Otherwise these are perfect.

Initially I thought it came with just one, so I bought one just to see how I'd like them, and immediately out of the box I was delighted to see there's 2 inside! Super, super easy assembly, there's a diagram that's incredibly self-explanatory and it took me about 5-7 minutes of tinkering to get them both up and going. These are awesome for SH Figuarts and hold "flight" poses incredibly well, very sturdy! The second one I wanted to use on a Storm Collectibles figure, these pose a bigger problem as the clamps aren't wide enough to properly hold up their waists, but with some very careful maneuvering and weight distribution I was able to wrap the clamps around the thighs of one of my figures and move the stand around a bit to support the pose. Super, super happy, will definitely buy a couple more of these! (Don't mind the dust in these pictures!)

This figure stands are great for any small, lightweight figure that you may have. If you put anything beyond a 4 to 5 inch figure on it, the arms won't hold their position or, in my case, the peg on the arm will break off inside of your figure. Woops. So I mean they're great for small to medium, lightweight figures but anything else they're kind of a nightmare.

Very creative and inventive system that allows for endless action movements with the use of multiples stands as counterweight along with the decent hold from the joints. I would say voyager and leader Transformers need at least 2 to 3 stands to hold weight and probably 3 to 4 for MP or just move up to the Act 6 or 7. Love the way these flight stands make room for more stuff to add and just pop off the shelves.

This product is a joke. The plastic is cheaply made and it can't hold up any figures because the main armature is loose. This product is NOT worth the price.

Product is just as advertised. The first part of the arm is very stable. It has a very stiffy rachet joint. The other part of the arm you can tighten it with a phillips srewdriver. Be careful with the size of the figures used. I use it for flying poses. Perfect for figures like Super Robot Chogokin. For bigger and heavier figures like Soul of Chogokin you can use the 2 stands using only the first part of the arms, disassembling the shorter part and putting the clamp on the stronger and racheted arm, only to support not for holding in the air.
