With the included tripods, monopod, smartphone holder and 8" light, this is a fantastic kit to start with or add as I did. With the 10 levels of brightness and the different colours, you have a great amount of control of this light. Great purchase indeed! Can't wait to use it in my upcoming videos!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  If you watch my video review you can see that I did not purchase this for using it as a "Selfie ring light", but rather an inexpensive, very portable, and efficient LED lighting for cell phone videos or quick DSLR shots. I used this for most of my Amazon reviews over the last few months. I also used it for supplemental lighting during some product shots.I am using a regular (10,000mah) cell phone charging pack to supply the power to the Ledgle LED ring light. It works ALL day, I have not drained my battery pack with this light yet. Seeing how useful it is I almost want to use this for camping as well since I was easily able to run the LED for over 9 hours straight with zero issues and still possessed 80-90% of the charging brick still left.The LEDGLE led ring light comes with a tripod and a telescopic pole. You can opt to use the ring light with or without the tripod and/or telescopic pole. There have been several times where I simply mount the ring LED to the top of my DSLR. As you can see in the photos (or the video review) I use the light in a wide variety of lighting scenarios. The LED can be adjusted for brightness (dimmable) or style: "Warm", "Normal", or "Cold".Because this is marketed as a "Selfie" ring light, it also comes with a cell phone tripod and universal cell phone mount. Both my iphone Xr and Samsung S7 fit in it perfectly. I used the mini tripod setup for taking timelapses on my cell phones whilst I was doing other film work.I dropped mine on concrete and the white plastic diffuser rolled out pretty easily. Amazingly it didn't break and I was able to put it back in easily but it did worry me about the durability. I almost wanted to ding it a star but dropping it was my fault. While the diffuser was off I took a gander at the internals. The LEDs are decent but the soldering and thin power wire worry me about the longevity of the product under a lot of travel and use. I ended up adding a spot of hot glue and adding a healthy layer of epoxy to the holding nut to ensure that this lasts me a couple trips.

If you’re a youtuber, blogger, photographer or just like high quality pictures as I do, then this is for you!!! When I just assembled my selfie ring light and took some selfies and it literally is perfect to start off for video blogging. The brightest white light make you look so perfect!!! So happy of having my perfect model face lol!!!!

Actually I may update this to five stars shortly. I've only used it once since purchasing it but I am very pleased with this product. The light is perfect for my home studio and the adjustable tripod is perfect for standing and lying shots. So far I highly recommend

it is very flimsy. and though it can go high up I could not figure out how to lock it so u just have to make sure that stays super still. Not a fan of the phone attachment coming completely separate either. would rate it less, but was able to return it

The light wasn't bright enough. Now it may be my use case. I am a African American male and I am very dark. It didn't light to my liking.

This was a good product in the beginning but after a few weeks of uses the light or rather the wire for the light started acting up. With the slightest touch to the wire the light would change or flicker. The stand isn’t that sturdy and the long stand doesn’t really keep the light up it tends to fall.

I have literally tried plugging my light into 5 different USB ports and it won't turn on. Guess I'll be returning it.
