What is the overall width of this chair including wheels? - needs to go through a 22" doorway, will this fit?

at the wheel base, it is around 22 inches by 22 inches. Most likely, it will not fit through a 22 inch doorway.however, it roll really well on carpet, and it can get through regular bedroom door, regular bathroom door, but it could not go through my shower stall doorway. it is light and sturdy, and can transport patient around very well.

How do I adjust the height of the chair? Instructions say to push buttons, but I cannot get them to push.

The chair I purchased is not adjustable. I wish it was. I find it odd that some of us got a chair that is NOT adjustable and obviously you and someone else gotone that IS. This does not make me happy.

could the wheels be taken off this and rubber feet put on it?

There are 2 screws at the top of each wheel. Could be taken off I suppose but they look pretty secure. I need the wheels for my son so I have not tried.
