Mattress Bag for Moving & Long-Term Storage - Queen Size - Enhanced Mattress Protection with Extra Thick Tear & Puncture Resistance Polyethylene

I bought two of these bags for children's twin mattresses, for a long move across country. After being dragged from an upstairs of a house, through the house, out into a garage and shoved into a moving truck- gliding across the floor most of the way due to my very small framed spouse. They were then dragged off of a moving truck and into a new home, across a stone pathway, through the home and to their resting place. Unbelievably- not one rip, tear or hole!! These bags are a super strong thick ply and although I haven't bought another brand to compare- I think they would be hard to beat for their durability. All of our mattresses, which mind you were also only a year old and so in new condition- have remained that way through our transition to a new home. They are also super roomy, so although we our children’s mattresses were 8 inch deep ones that we actually bought here on amazon, a much much thicker one with perhaps even an added top could have fit in. I also think an extra long twin mattress would have fit, as we had so much plastic left at the end of the bag, that we rolled the end and folded it over to tape it. There will be no worries whether your mattress will fit. My wife is very particular and also one of those neat people who can't stand messes, dirt or anything of the like-and she was very pleased with the protection these bags provided. (and as the saying goes, when mama is happy, everyone is happy....) As a side note, my wife is an avid gardener and since we don't plan to move again, and the bags are large enough and thick enough, she plans to cut them open and place them over our garden to extend the growing season. And compared to the price of buying garden covers elsewhere- you absolutely cannot beat the quality and price. The condition of one's belongings is of paramount concern in a move, but with these bags, you *won’t* have to worry about your mattresses.

This bag is intended for moving or storing a mattress - NOT for sleeping on. It is heavy-duty, clear plastic. It is meant to be taped shut on the open end with packing tape. We bought it to protect an extra twin mattress which spends 99% of its time in storage. 5 stars because: 1. This bag is thick! And I like that it's clear. 2. Generously sized! My mattress is only about 9" deep; this bag is 14" deep. It is oversized in the length and width, too. Which resulted in #3 below. 3. We were able to gather the open end and secure it with a couple of twist ties! (Ignore the blue tape in the photo - I tried that first but it didn't stick and I just left it there.) We will be using this mattress in a month, for a few days; then it will go back into storage. So I didn't really want to tape it, for fear the tape would tear it during removal and i would have to buy another right away. We'll tape it when we put it back into storage after using it next month, to keep it fully protected from moisture etc. 4. It was easy for two of us to slide it over the mattress and carry it to the storage area. (But it's only a twin mattress - for something bigger, you might need to put a strap around it or something, to carry it.) Also because it's strong, we didn't experience any tearing. Great storage bag at a great price!

I needed to store a couple of brand new extra thick queen size pillow top mattresses on my deck overnight while carpet was installed in my house. After shopping and finding a lot of very thin mattress bags I finally came across these and immediately purchased them. I'm glad I made that decision. The bags protected my mattresses very well and they were strong enough for me to grab the plastic and use it to drag the mattresses. I did manage to tear the plastic a bit, but I wasn't being very careful because I knew I wouldn't be storing the mattresses long term. The product doesn't have a closing system so I sealed the opening on the end with tape and you will want to do the same thing, particularly for long-term storage. I'm giving these bags four stars because they tore, but, honestly, I don't think you're going to find a better product made of 4 mil plastic. They easily accommodated my THICK mattresses and were relatively durable. I recommend this product.

I bought these for moving and storing purposes. I wanted to make sure my mattresses and box springs were kept clean and protected. This product is a durable and thick material, there were no rips or tears during two moves and three months in storage. Very easy to use and slide mattress and box spring inside with ease. Kept everything clean from moisture to bugs to dirt/dust. Very glad I made this purchase!

Ordered this for a recent move. Was pleasantly surprised with how thick and resilient it was compared to the bags sold by companies like UHaul. Be aware that it does make carrying things like mattresses more difficult as the matress is prone to slipping easily within the bag, and you can only hold by the bag one the bag is on. This led us to gripping by the bag and at times stretching the bag. The bag never ripped or tore but it did stretch out in some areas. This bag does not seal. It is up to you to tape it shut if you are worried about it being protected long term i.e. in a storage locker. It is simply an open top with no sealing mechanism. Overall, it is an excellent bag for moving and storage for the price paid. Heavy duty, good quality, does not rip or tear easily. Would purchase again!

I use this when I moved from one state to a different state a year ago. My mattress is fairly large and fairly big. It’s a queen size mattress, and it seems like it fits perfectly when I tried to use it when I was moving sturdy and provided protection, but I don’t think there is enough ceiling for it unless You with the rope. It does not seem very thick when I use it for my moving purposes it didn’t break or get scratched and I still have it in storage just in case I need to use it again. Good value the price.

CRESNEL Mattress Bag for Moving & Long-term Storage - KING size - Enhanced mattress protection with Super Thick Tear & Puncture Resistance Polyethylene (Value Pack of 2pcs) I purchased this item because I needed to dispose of a queen size mattress that was less than 12 inches tall. I opted to purchase a "king size" bag for the extra room. Pros: -Bag is thick enough to resist most attempts to puncture it. -Seams of bag appear to be well manufactured. -Fits queen size mattress that is less than 12 inches tall. Cons: -Barely fits a queen size mattress that is less than 12 inches tall. I seriously doubt this bag can handle a king size mattress. Wikipedia says a king size mattress is 16 inches wider than a queen. Based on a visual check, at most there was only 5 inches remaining to accommodate a larger mattress. -"Sealing" the open end of the bag is difficult and barely sufficient for keeping out dirt, insects, etc. There is barely enough material in the sealing flap to "fold over' against the rest of the bag. I estimate there was only 4 inches of plastic material available to folder over. Hardly enough to inspire confidence. Given the price of this product, they should made the sealing flap minimum 12 inches long. In summary: A good product if you want to dispose of your mattress and don't care if dust, insects, etc get inside. However if you are disposing your mattress because of bed bugs, there isn't enough material available to fold over and make a solid seal. Disposal companies would probably refuse to collect your mattress because of this issue. The overall size is an issue too. I strongly doubt this product would fit a king mattress. It barely fit my queen size mattress which was less than 12 inches tall. If you planning on using this product to store your mattress, consider buying a 2 pack and then using both on a single mattress to ensure a complete, and durable, overlapping seal.

I used this during a recent move and it was great - large enough and the plastic is super sturdy.

The plastic is of good quality and feels tough. If you need to store the mattress for an extended period of time, this is a good 'plastic bag' to put your mattress in. There's no zipper or anything like that so you will have to use your own tape to close the bag.
