Is this full size cover 5mil too?

The packaging the cover came in says that it is 4 mil thick.

Will this bag protect against bed bugs?

Yes, you can completely seal your mattress in this bag to keep out all bugs and moisture. All new 2016 models no longer has vent hole specifically for this purpose.

Does this fit a California King mattress?

Dear Kahed,California King size bed dimension is 72 inches Width x 84 inches Length. And, our King size mattress bag dimension is 78 Inches Width x 104 inches Length x 14 inches Depth. It should perfectly fit to your needs. Thank you for your question.

How could I close it? Have zipper or I have to use a tape for it?

There is no zipper. Because of size variation from different manufacturers and different models it is not ideal to include zipper as this may leave smaller mattress loosely fitted. CRESNEL mattress bag is designed to be slightly larger on each category size to accommodate all variation such as extra long or pillow top. The good thing is you can fold and seal this bag tightly conform to your mattress. Please also note that the extra length will allow overlapping on closing end, thus a completely seal mattress.
