Review: the move responsive and challenging kite I've flown - I finally flew my Micron yesterday at the beach and what a blast. I had not flow a stunt kite for 20 years and it was like riding a bike for me. Getting the kite up and stable is easy enough. Taking it through some maneuvers is another. I had a stiff wind yesterday and this kite was buzzing! The kite as setup by Prism was good. String lengths are perfect. The bridle is good and with the wind yesterday the kite goes very high and just sits there with minimal pull. As I turned the kite for a dive it would catch the wind, pull and buzz. What a blast. Towards the last afternoon the wind picked up a bit more and the kite was becoming even more responsive and challenging to control. I also discovered in a stronger winding I could sometimes get the kite back in the air without putting it on its back for launch. A neat trick when flying at the beach with the wind is to shove the tip of the kite into the sand to keep it still and not blow away, walk back to the control loops on the string and give it a nice tug and the kite flips up, spilling the sand and off it goes. Could not be easier. I did fly this little gem in a light breeze one day a while ago. It was much easier to control in the lighter wind only because it was not so fast to respond. However, the wind was not constant it was a constant chore to keep resetting the kite and launching it again. This didnโt count as my first real test flight of the kite. In a light wind, this is an intermediate stunt kite not hard for someone that knows what they are doing, when the wind picks up it becomes an advanced kite to fly. I am had a blast flying my kite. The others at the beach like to watch it spin and weave. The tail is so much fun to watch. I was learning to time how to stop a spin with the kite heading up and not down. I noticed if the string caught the edge of the tail it would fray a little but didn't seem to cause too much damage. I've not broken a string but I assume after a while it will need to be replaced. One of these days I will have a short sessions unless I get some extra string and make a second set of lines . Oh, one more thing, stay away from old dried and crusty seaweed on the beach. The strings snag on this like crazy. Find a nice clear patch, make sure folks donโt have to walk near this kite as it moves fast it will hurt someone if it comes down on their head. Also, avoid the rocks and trees. This kite does not stay just in front of you. It swings far to the right and left. The kite is setup for Larks Head knots. Learn the larks head. It makes attaching and removes the strings to and from the bridle a breeze. It took me a few minutes to get the trick down and I am pretty good at puzzles. You can Google larks head and kites. I just found an article about how it is used. Review: I can fly kites pretty well but this one is really difficult too keep ... - Really doesn't fly well. I can fly kites pretty well but this one is really difficult too keep in the air. The line is too short as well.

Fast and nimble
Not for the beginner, this little gem will test your skills to the max! Fast and nimble, it takes all the attention you have. Very well made and a total blast to fly. It was the perfect addition to my collection of Prism kites.

Incomplete - not all pieces included.
The information on the purchase included the following "Matching 30โ tail, flying lines, flight straps and winder included" however the only thing in the box was the kite. The purchase was specially made for a visit to a friends house so I felt like a real jerk when the item showed up and it was not is a usable condition. Was not even worth the effort to get it replaced or ask for a refund. Makes me want to steer clear of Amazon purchases. Because the purchase was being shipped to Canada I paid a premium in shipping costs and then did not even get a usable item. A very big disappointment.

Fast!
I love this kite! Really fast and very responsive, you must have some experience with this type of kite. durable construction, I crashed it several times and it held up nicely. Won't fly in under 8mph. Wind, and 25mph wind is probably its limit. Believe me, in 25mph, this thing is very very very fast! I think the only problem I had was oversteering it, that is my fault though. 5 stars all day every day!

Nice little flier
I love the Prism brand and the build quality does not disappoint. This is a agile little squirt that requires a VERY sensitive touch. I would not recommend for the novice flyer as it'll just frustrate them. I put mine on longer 100' lines and found it a lot more agreeable to fly in a bigger flight window. It's a blast when the wind really picks up and it starts buzzing like a pack of angry hornets.
