I loveee making taiyaki , they always turn out really nicely. My favorite filling is probably red bean :P very versatile since you could add an endless number of things on the inside; you could also change the flavor of the batter. I cook it slowly on low heat, so the batter cooks thoroughly. the mold is very nice and durable I haven't had any issues.

During this stay at home period we wanted to find something fun to pass the time.....and one day, redbean taiyakis came to mind. However, we needed the taiyaki maker......but electric or manual (holding over the fire).....we chose to save some money and went with this one. What fun! Of course, we had to tweak the recipe to make them as healthy as possible...using a mix of almond and regular flour (for more crispiness on the outside).....and they came out perfect, thanks to our new toy. It was so easy to use, lightweight to hold and turn, easy to clean, and best of all....made perfectly yummy Taikayis.....almost as good as the way I used to eat them when living in Asia when I was a kid.....oh where have those days gone?! Next, we will experiment with other fillings like sweet corn, custard, peanut butter and jelly, etc. Lots of delicious fun for the whole family to pass the time with.....not great for the waistline, but oh well....YOLO.

I’m obsessed with Tayaki! Since the Japanese market as well as the sushi place that sells these is almost an hour out of my way, I decided to try them at home. The pan is great! Perfect size, easy to use. The handle doesn’t get hot. Easy to clean. The trick is getting the heat and timing right for perfect Tayaki. With some practice it’ll get easier. 10/10 happy with my purchase.

If you want to make it as golden brown color, you have to cook in low stove and filp over every 30 sec. It takes 5-6 mins for one.

Purchased as a gift for my wife. She made a simple batter, added a filling and had a perfect treat. Good coloring, pan was easy to clean. Was smaller than we thought but still happy.

Ordered these to make homemade Taiyaki after seeing some online recipes and must say this is super easy to use and love the way they come out. The pan is made from aluminum but has a nonstick coating over it., sometimes the Taiyaki do get stuck but a few taps with a spoon make the fallout. The only downside which I'm not sure if it's my stove (i use an electric one) sometimes it takes a long time to heat up so they take longer to make and can end up a bit burnt. Overall it's a great product for fun homemade Taiyaki.

My husband and I found Tayaki pastries at a boba tea shop and fell in love with them! We wanted to make our own, so I bought this product. After a small learning curve, we were making our own Tayakis like pros! We used Nutella filling and homemade prickly pear jelly filling. Sooooo cute and so delicious!! Easy to use, easy to clean.
