I love salt. I love pretzels. When I found the extra salt option I had to get it. They do not disappoint. I had to laugh at some of the reviews saying, “there is too much salt”. That’s like buying ice and saying it’s too cold. These are legit, taste great, have a quality feel to the bite and would be great hard pretzels without the salt. Once this box is gone I’ll be buying another!

The SPLITS PRETZELS EXTRA SALT are just like the original, but these are covered in salt over the entire surface of each pretzel. Some pieces are even too salty for my taste (and I love salty food - I used to drink Maggi out of the bottle when I was a kid). You can try and scrape some of the salt off, but that would only make a small difference in taste. You really have to like well seasoned and salted foods to appreciate these EXTRA SALT SPLITS. If not, go with the original version. Even myself, I can only eat a handful at one time and not everyday. If you have high blood pressure or other health complications due to sodium, skip these altogether. My order was for several bags and so they came inside their own box, so my pretzels weren't crushed or broken.

THE BEST PRETZLE iVE EVER HAD , PERIOD, i ACTUALLY GAVE UP ON PRETZLES, BECAUSE, THEY WERE ALL THE SAME, tHEN BY ACCIDENT I TRIED THESE UNIQUE SNACKS WITH EXYTRA SALT, iT WAS LOOKING LIKE A HARD PRETZLE, AND IVE HAD HARD PRETZLE'S THAT YOU NEEDED A JACK HAMMER TO BITE THROUGH, THESE WERE NOT ONLY HARD, BUT EASY TO BITE THROUGH, PERFECT TEXTURE AND GREAT FLAVOR.

Quality of pretzel is great- nice and dry and good flavor. Lots of salt.

I don't normally write reviews for snacks, but I had to for these pretzels. I love super salty pretzels. I'm a person who gets those frozen pretzels and dumps half the salt packet on just a couple of them. Suffice to say, I have been looking for a hard pretzel with enough salt on it to satisfy me for a long time. Most hard pretzels skimp on the salt big time. When these say they have extra salt, they mean it. They are the saltiest, and by extension, most delicious hard pretzels I have found. They're pretty big and thick, so I can be satisfied with eating just a pretzel or two at a time. I will also say that very few of the pretzels arrived broken into pieces in the bag so that is a plus. So while these are more expensive than your average pretzel brand, they are worth every penny.

Delivery was fine. Pretzels were a little too salty.

I am a pretzel fan because they are usually low in fat and contain less sugar than many other snacks out on the market. My only complaint is that most pretzels that I have found these days do not have enough salt for my taste. I was out on the hunt looking for a brand of pretzels that were available in my youth called mister salty As I remember them they had more salt on them than anything I had found recently. In my search this brand Splits popped up in my search and with a little more searching I found their extra salt variety. The picture on the bag showed pretzels with extra salt exactly, what I was looking for. I thought that I would give them a try, hoping that the product was close to the picture on the bag. First of all they came well packed in one day. When I excitedly opened the bag I was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what I have been looking for. They are a salt lovers dream and definitely not for people trying to cut salt out of their diet. They are a nice size and crunchy as their special way of making them describes. If you love salt like I do try these and your search for pretzels that are salty enough will be over. BTW the perfect snack for summertime margaritas. Thank you Splits.
