<$10 to bring my laptop back to life
There are plenty of videos that will show you how to get the back of off your laptop and the screws you need to remove to replace the power connector. We had lightning strikes and, thinking it fried my power cord/transformer bought a new one. WrongO!! The connector pin was broken. Apparently a common issue with the Dell Laptops. This is a super easy repair and it works like new. BTW, as long as you've got to take off the back panel, probably a good time to switch out that battery. Its literally 4 screws and a 3 year old can do it.

IT WORKS!
This piece is for my Inspirion 15 7579 and the installation was easier than kindergarten English. It was too easy and now I know the problem was never my laptop charger. I'm so happy right now.

Wires did not fit as well as the original but it was easy to install nonetheless and has been working well for months now. I would purchase again without hesitation.

Too short for Dell 7368
It is shorter than the original Dell part and doesn't fit correctly. The picture shown has the original part on the bottom which you can see is a little longer that this part. However it needs to be JUST that long to fit properly. Otherwise when you try to put the jack end in where it needs to go and screw it down, the motherboard connector pops out.

Does the job
Common issues with these laptops is plastic tab that holds down jack breaks easily and doesn't allow the charger to plug in all the way. This part fixed that issue on an Inspiron 15-7579. BIOS alert indicating AC Charger not recognized is now off. As others have noted, for this laptop, the tab is on the wrong side, but the cables can be carefully twisted and will fit nicely. Harness length was spot on.
