Can i use this inverter for a air compressor 5.5 hp 230/400v 13.5/7.88 a 2850 rpm

Presume the 13.5 to 7.88 is amp load of the air compressor. As air compresses it needs energy/ current A. If the motor is rated at 13.5 A once at pressure of 7.5-8 bar storage pressure. 400 volt rated meaning input power will be approx 220volt uk volts and twice the current approx 26/27 amps. The inverter is rated 4 kw. And your motor is 5.5 hp equates to 4.1 kw, so you will need the next model. I’m not an electrician but mechanical engineer. Hope this helps.
