I wish I could give this more stars. It has changed my life! I suffer from IBS & severe constipation. I have tried everything including fiber, chia seed, lots of different medications from my GI doctor that either didn't work or had horrible side effects (as well as big costs). I've done laxatives, swiss kriss, and AMITIZA (lubiprostone) which after insurance is $300.00 per month and nothing worked. I take two of these soft mags per night and I have been regular for 3 months now. And because I'm not able to "go" I've lost 15 pounds. I dont have any upset belly or bowel irritation either. My husband also started to take 1 a day as well and he no longer has any hernia pain. These are awesome!

The 500mg was to much for me. The product certainly works but at a 500 milligrams it caused headaches and stomach distress. Also, you can hope you aren't away from a bathroom when it works its way through!

I purchased these a while back and wasn't happy because I was using the liquid form prior to this purchase and the liquid form helps me sleep. The pill form I wasn't getting sleep. But I've learned that my vitamin D was low and vitamin D activates magnesium. So when I ran out of my liquid I began to use this product with vitamin d and it worked wonders that said I would purchase it again and would definitelyrecommend.

It is hard to find a 500mg magnesium capsule. Even though the capsule is large, it is easy to swallow as it issoft.

I took this product to wean myself off of Miralax. The salesperson at the health food store told me that her customers call this the "pooping pill." It caused diarrhea, and I had to stop taking it. Maybe 500 mg is too much.
