Taste of the Wild Canyon River Feline Recipe with Trout & Salmon in Gravy Canned Cat Food, 3-oz, Case of 24

I have two cats and they LOVE this food! It’s primarily cut up chunks of trout that you can clearly see are real ingredients Here are the first six ingredients 1. Trout 2. Fish broth 3. Vegetable broth 4. Ocean fish 5. Dried egg whites I typically rotate cat food, which I’m sure some have mixed opinions on. However I wouldn’t want to eat the same thing forever and I’m sure my cats don’t want to either. With that being said, since I found this food it has been a staple in my rotation of food for the kitties, they get a can of Canyon River Taste of the Wild at least once a day (I feed three cans a day to each of my cats). I think that for the quality of food, the price is well worth it.

This product delivers quality every time. Shipping time was slower than preferred.

DO NOT BUY THIS ON AMAZON!!******* !!!UPDATE!!! I finally got some of this from Natural Grocers and I knew that the color of the food was different from the stuff that I bought on Amazon. See picture comparing the store product to the Amazon product. They are the same flavor just different sizes. My cat refusessssss to eat the stuff I bought on Amazon but will eat the stuff bought from Natural Grocers…weird. I buy taste of the wild wet and dry dog food for both my dog and cat. My cat I got earlier this year and was experimenting with different wet foods and taste of the wild was the one she liked. I always buy the Canyon River flavor, however, I typically buy it at Natural grocers but they have been out the last few times so I ordered online. Since I ordered this online the very first thing I noticed when opening the first can was the color of the food. It is definitely a darker color than the stuff I order from the store and my cat won’t even touch this stuff. It just sits out, goes bad, and then I end up tossing it. Complete waste of $40 and I’ll never order this online again. Something has definitely changed because my cat normally eats this everyday and now won’t touch it.

It is what I ordered and it arrived on time. Only glitch was a missing can in the case. I’m sure it was a manufacturing error.

My cats cleaned their plates when I served this up today I'm happy to report! One of them has food allergies, so I opted for this grain-free quality choice, which also is a unique protein source, so for them all to go for it as they have really rocks. The only issue is that one of my others had a mandablectomy due to a rare bone cancer and therefore has trouble grabbing certain sized morsels and unfortunately this wet food has just the small size he struggles with, so I had to cut them down so he could almost lap the food up and luckily my survivor cleaned his plate like a good boy! It's expensive food but you get what you pay for and knowing as all cat parents do that variety is the key to a happy eatting kitty, I will change up to another high quality food with hopefully a lower price point after this case is done and make a round back to this hit in the future.

I’m sure these are fine quality, but my 3 cats won’t touch it. They like the dry food from this company, not this wet version. The texture is small cubes in a bit of gravy, maybe that’s why? Cubes?They’ll eat other brands in minced or shreds in gravy or pate style…sometimes. Anyway, I have two cases of this stuff and am out about $90.

I had already purchased " a taste of the wild" for my two cats, so I figured what the hay, I'll buy this particular flavor in a bigger bulk, since I use it as a weekly treats for my furs. Frankly, you could get canned food for cats for cheaper, but then it's all fillers and it smells like death. I can smell actual meat in this product, and my cats reacquired their love for wet food. I don't recommend using it as a regular regimen though, as it comes with a severe case of the runs. Their regular food, is still " a taste of the wild" , just the dry version. Alternating this brand , just in 2 different versions gave my two cats excellent balance, they're happy , vital, playful and their fur is shiny! it got shinier within 2 weeks, and softer. the difference is amazing. Also 2 frequent pukers, now never even hack the slightest huff. A taste of the wild was originally recommended to me by a friend, and I can see why. When the licensing vets heard that my cats don't puke, they couldn't even believe it. This brand has a new loyal customer, that is for sure.

This product has great ingredients for your cat and it’s a pretty good price. We also feed them the same brand of dry food. They really like it. Our one cat is obsessed with this wet food and begs for it every morning. We love the morsel food instead of the pate, easier to dish out as well, you don’t have to break it apart for them.
