Will this case work for a hi-point jhp .45 acp

Yes it should and will hold extra magazine. Holds my 1911 45apc and extra magazine.Measurements inside case are 12 inches long. 6 3/4 high, the outer edges, only 6 1/4 high center of case and any gun under 2 1/4 inches thick.

Will this fit a Smith & Wesson Model 10 with a 4" barrel?

I can tell you that my 1911 w/ 5" barrel fits comfortably with room for 2 extra magazines. Hope this helps

Actually, 12 3/8 x 6 3/16 inches are the smallest inside measurements because of the curvature and the handle. I bought mine to store my Rapala Ion Filet Knife with an extra blade. It all fits in there with the charger cord.
