Espresso Machine Cleaning Powder - 566 grams - Cafiza Professional Espresso Machine Cleaner

First of all, I buy many products on Amazon. I may have written one other review. I am just so impressed by this product. This works great on drip pots as well. I have a ninja coffee maker with an insulated carafe. It’s 10 years old. I know this because I received it as a gift on the 30th birthday and I am now turning 40. I make coffee almost every day. I clean it from time to time with water, dish soap and a bottle brush but it just never seemed to never get clean. Many years ago, I had resigned myself to the fact that coffee stains just don’t come out. This was until yesterday when I used this product. I just let all the parts soak in hot water and about a teaspoon or two of the powder. Then, all the buildup and stains came off—with barely any scrubbing. It’s now spotless, and I would say I am speechless but I am writing this review. It was totally black inside from 10 years of coffee and it’s totally gone now. Just perfectly clean stainless steel. The build up came off in sheets (it was disturbing.) Worked on my thermos too and all the parts. I am going to do some of my to-go mugs next. I don’t have a picture of the contents of the carafe when I poured it out, but let me tell you it was many times darker than any coffee ever produced from this machine. Pictured in the bowl was just what came off the small stopper for the carafe. I had already cleaned it multiple times with soap and a sponge. Still had coffee stains. Then I let it soak in this solution and all the stains came off. It’s like I have a brand new pot! The coffee is also tasting amazing this morning!

It cleaned the basket and strainer on my single serve coffee machine after trying all kinds of stuff. Very effective. Just read the directions, and make sure not to get it on unintended surfaces. It’s kind of caustic. Awesome product!

My travel coffee tumblers are like new inside again. Coffee stains are gone, baby. Works fast. The container will last a lifetime in your home kitchen, so that's good. Buy once and never again! OTOH, this container is gonna take up space in my home for the rest of my life... Moral of the story for home kitchen users: share with your coffee-and tea-drinking friends. It works. It's impressive. It's also a lot a lot a lot of product.

It’s the cleaner all others imitate. Leaves no taste and has no discernible scent. Removability is easy with flushes or rinses. Leaves streak-free metallic parts that look and operate good as new

While Krud Kutter is good at cleaning minor to moderately dirty filter baskets and coffee pots, Cafiza is MUCH more effective at cleaning heavily used/stained items.. especially if they've developed a coffee oil varnish (coffee stains that become baked in after many uses). I bought a used Ninja Pods & Grounds single use coffee maker (great item btw), but the seller had never cleaned the filter basket to a point where the bottom of the basket was varnished (clogged) and coffee no longer flowed thru it well. Took 2 soaks in Cafiza.. brand new! Do NOT run Cafiza thru a standard coffee maker as the product is not suitable for aluminum. For that, just use vinegar & hot water. Get this product.. you won't regret it.

The best. Classic. Will make any coffee pot or coffee mug look brand new.

Only used it once and it was easy to use, seemed to do the job… lots of residue in the drip tray… should only be used with a machine with a 3way solenoid valve and back flush with a blind flange in the basket. Since the cleaning is internal to the machine hard to tell results. Be sure to flush the machine several times after to ensure cleaner is removed and clean the portafilter well!

I love this stuff! Cleans stainless steel effortlessly and if it is any type of coffee or tea stain it is gone! A little goes a long way and this bottle lasts a long time.
