Youdiyla 10 Pendant Trays, 30x40mm, Blank Oval Cabochons Base Setting Bezel Frame Metal Cameo for Photo Pendant Jewelry Making (Antique Silver-HM278)

These are really beautiful and are the perfect size to make either a brooch or a large pendant. They function well using resin or simply fitting a piece of stone inside. While I wouldn't call them generally "easy" to use, since it does require a bit of skill and a number of steps to insert a stone into them or fill with resin, I would say they were easy for me though they do require a number of steps and a bit of skill to complete. They look like they won't tarnish, however I can't vouch for that because tarnishing sometimes takes years to occur, so only time will tell. There is quite a selection from the 12 pieces. All but one of them was a closed bezel. Some of them look faux antique and some are more modern looking. i made one pendant with a picture I reduced of my grand nephew who passed away last year. He had welded together a bouquet of flowers made from chain links that he pounded flat and painted red. The picture is of his homemade bouquet held in his hands. I reduced it and blew the whole background out and did a blue to cloudy gradation in Photoshop (you can use Photopea free online to do the same thing if you don't have access to any graphics programs) to the size of one of the ovals of the bezels and I then coated both sides with an acrylic gloss medium to seal it. You MUST seal paper with something to protect it from resin because the resin will darken all the inks and the paper until you can barely see the image. I then cut it out in the shape of the bezel opening using a template I had made (you might have to mess around with this for a while unless you also want to figure out its size in a graphics program and print the ellipse directly on top of the photo) I glued it onto the bezel back with E6000 epoxy and it will most likely NEVER fall out! Then I poured a very thin layer of UV resin onto it and cured it under a UV light for 3 minutes. It looks beautiful! I may leave it as it is but I am thinking I may add a tiny bit of mica powder or glitter just around the edges, we shall see. I do think I will ad another layer just to "dome up" the layer. I will present this as a gift to my sister who basically raised that boy. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to make a piece of keepsake jewelry or just some fun jewelry. As far as the "easy" part, if a person simply. wanted to insert a photograph inside that was laminated, that would be easy and still very beautiful. My project is WAY more involved than that but worth my time. As far as value goes, I couldn't ask for a better price for jewelry parts than this. Well worth the money!

Be sure to convert size from metric to Imperial! I did not and now must buy something smaller. These are pretty silver color but almost fill up my palm, so won't work. My bad.

I purchased the antique bronze and silver versions. The silver version came first and I was thrilled with them. Beautiful and intricate designs. The bronze came a couple days later and I was less thrilled. 2 were broken and they had to have been packed that way and not broken in shipping .. there were no broken pieces in the sealed pack. That being said I can't give them a full 5 stars. However, these are beautiful. They are going to work perfectly for my jewelry adventures. They are all about the size of a Splenda/Equal packet and are heavier than I expected. I was expecting a tin type feel, but these have a good weight to them without being too heavy. I'm going to try to fix the two broken ones, but if I can't I still have enough for my project. My overall rating is 4+ but you can't give that 😉 I still recommend these, just be aware you might get a broken one .... or two ;)

Use these for tiny embroideries. They worked really well and really added a great look to my projects. I love them and can’t wait to use them all.

I love these pendant trays . They are easy to work with and create things with , because they are a great size , not too big , but big enough for doing many things. I made a bunch of items already and looking forward to making more with them . I am very happy with them and just love the different styles they give you . They are of good quality and very easy and fun to work with . If you like large size pendant trays and also make a lot of different crafts as well , as resin , then these are a must for you.

The picture advertised is deceiving if you don't read the description, which I did, but I want other people to know that 12 cabachons are pictured but you will only receive 10. This is the second time I order these, I had no problems with the first order. This time I was not happy, I received 9 pieces of the size advertised and 1 piece that is significantly smaller, ugly, without detail and with a sharp, jagged edge (see picture). I don't have time to return them and wait for new ones.
