I have the Bissel crosswave for pet machine. The bottle for the wash solution is 32oz. which includes the water and cleaning solution. This product's recommendation is 5oz per gal. and the solution seems much the same if not identical and more concentrated than the Bissel solution made for my. This costs the same as a bottle labeled for the crosswave but with that bottle you use 5 oz per 27 oz of water for big jobs. I couldn't see the difference in the way these are made, the solution has cleaning agents and lubricants. So I used it. I used two tablespoons (one oz) and filled to the water line (27 oz water) making about 28 oz of solution. It works great. and is 1/5 the price. The solution cleans as well if not better than the crosswave solution and after using for about 5 hours yesterday, the pump, lines, gaskets and operation are in great shape and the floors are clean. all my floors are wood polyurethane coated (not wax) No staining, or excess water. The odor is pleasant too. Time will tell but using this diluted to it recommended strength for carpet cleaners seems to be a good low cost solution. at least so far. I would like to hear if anyone has a different experience. The key is to dilute the strength based on the low volume that comes with the crosswave. 1/4 to 1/5 or 2 Tablespoons per bottle.

I’ve been using this product for many of years.. it works I shampoo and if lifts my pets odors.. marvelous scent.. I give it 10 of good quality.

Does an excellent job on carpet cleaning and pet stains when used with the Bissell Pro Heat 2X Revolution carpet cleaner.

Huge difference in the smell of my couch. After having 2 large dogs practically live on my couch, I really needed something that would give my couch a fresh new look and smell. Definitely will purchase again.

A few months ago I ran out of a different bissell solution and had a new thing of Rug Doctor solution for pets laying around that I figured I’d use up. My puppy Sully got incredibly sick earlier this week and was throwing up all over the house during a 24 hour period (we found out the next day he had an intestinal obstruction and had to get emergency surgery to remove it). I have a carpet cleaner and used the Rug Doctor solution to try to clean the vomit up. I’ve been using that solution for a month to clean up other dog messes and it never worked well, but this was the first time I was in desperate need of cleaning power because it was 10+ spots, not just 1. Despite going over the areas many times in multiple cleaning sessions, my house still didn’t smell right. That solution did not sudz up like it should, smell much at all, or remove the actual stain fully, so it felt like I was mostly cleaning with water that had a tiny bit of soap in it. I threw out the rug doctor stuff and broke down and got same day delivery on this Bissell pet solution. I used it the same night I got it and the difference was night and day! It smells great, is appropriately sudzy, removes the stain, the carpet feels soft and fluffy again, and the bad odors are totally gone. I know I’m walking on carpet that is actually clean now and my house doesn’t smell like a sick dog. I will definitely be buying this stuff from here on out!

This cleaner is really industrial strength, it gets rid of all the little pet accidents our little doggy made. The dirt that comes out of your carpet is amazing. I never knew there was that much guck in our carpet. It made our carpet look like new. Highly recommended product.
