This little pad works wonders. It is very comfortable and saves my tailbone on long airplane flights. If you’re like me and have little or no padding, you need this cushion. Packs into a very small area and is really easy to inflate and use. Indispensable.

This thing has literally saved my butt! After a tailbone injury, sitting on anything other then a cushion leaves me in pain for days but theres alot of places where bringing an actual cushion isnt practical and sometimes not possible like concerts, theaters and school events. Thats where this became my buddy, I can keep it deflated and folded up nice and small in my pocket until I get to my seat, then simply blow it up in like 2 breaths and im set. Its just enough to keep me comfortable and pain free without embarrassingly carrying around a obvious butt cushion lol I've even been able to bring it places where a cushion wouldn't normally be allowed like most concerts, being so small and so fast and easy to inflate noone even knows I have it, which is great! The material is nice and thick so I am not worried about it poping and I've used this countless times without any degradation. It is a little small, so not sure how well this would work for bigger bottoms but for your average person its a perfect fit.

I have a couple of inflatable cushions that are lifesavers when I attend an event and end up behind a tall person (I'm quite short). This is one that I use. They're great because they fold down small enough to carry in a small bag/purse, are quick to inflate, and also quick to deflate. 4 instead of 5 stars here just because the "V" design of the air channels in this specific cushion aren't quite as comfortable as another model I have. But they are very useful if you need a little boost, or a softer seating surface.

This helps so much on my trip to Australia. It gives you comfort while you’re sitting for so long easy to blow up right when you get in your seat and enough cushion to make a difference.

This is an absolute game changer for long flights! I used to get really bad cramps and aches on long flights. I used this for two 13 hour flights and it made such a big difference! It’s really compact when it’s rolled up, like the size of a roll of dog waste bags. Blowing it up was super easy and only took a few breaths. It didn’t leak at all during my flight, and it’s slightly smaller than the airplane seat. It’s now one of my travel essentials for long flights.

When I needed a lightweight and easy to use seat cushion I could every day carry, I actually searched for klymit right up front. I've had pillows, air mattresses and other seat cushions fro them in the past and wanted to maintain the love I felt for this brand. When I got it, I excitedly put it in my things, ready for the next time I needed a comfortable seat away from home. Fast forward to a few uses later, it no longer holds air for longer than 30 seconds. I can't even fix it because when I tested it, it was the valve that failed. Then Ibdecided to pull some of the other stuff from them out I had in storage to see if they still held air, and you know what? All of the pads, pillows and mattresses I had did almost the exact sme thing. Except for one air mattress that seems to have held up better than the rest. Totalled up, it's more than $500 invested in this company and basically everythng I have from them is useless including this seat cushion. So would I recommend this product? A few years ago I would have said if you pass on this company then you're mking a huge mistake, but now I'd say pass on one of these. In fact I'd say pass on this whole company since none of the products come with a repir kit of any kind, and even if they did, the valve can't be replaced, making it a factory fail in my opinion. The love affair is over forever I fear, and I have moved on to other brands, which are cheaper and far out perform anything I've ever bought from this company. Sorry Klymit, but you need to up your game, especially for the price you guys are charging for stuff.

If this had held air well, I would have kept it and given it five stars. If you really want one, maybe yours will hold up, so I gave it an average grade. It inflates with one breath, and having no foam for self inflating, it is very compact. You can easily carry it in a pocket or purse - it is just a few cubic inches. It was very comfortable for about 40 mninutes, but slowly got flat and was doing nothing by about an hour. I tightened the valve as much as I dared, and it went flat just as fast. You could keep blowing it up, if that will work for you. It is a little tricky to inflate to the maximum, as there is no check valve to give you time to twist the valve closed. If you can manage to hold the pressure with your mouth, you can turn the seat to close the valve and get maximum inflation. I would have put up with that, but for my application (recumbent bike seat cushion), the leakage is a deal breaker.

Used this on a trip where I would be all day for 3 days in a stadium with hard chairs. It worked fabulously and saved me so much discomfort. I sometimes sat on it and sometimes used it behind my back. It folds down to nothing. It blows up ridiculously easily. Well worth the money.

To set a suitable pressure in the Klymit V Seat Cushion, partially inflate it with a couple of puffs and set it down on a wooden chair, V pointing forward. Poke down on it with a single finger and you should reach the wood. If not, it is inflated too hard, let some air out. When sitting your bum on it, you need to be immersed in the cushion but still have air between bum and the wood. So when you squirm, the air in the cushion moves between cells to vary the pressure supporting your body weight to different points. Then you will know the suitable inflation to use in the future. Don’t leave it on the seat when you’re disembarking the plane, deflate it and fold to the size of a cigarette pack to go in your luggage.

My favourite travel accessory. Made a long coach trip so much more comfortable. Easy to inflate and versatile. I used it as a cushion and a back rest. Worthwhile purchase.

Did the job on an 9 hour flight! No sore behind!
