Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot

TOO SMALL for My eyes. I need my reading glasses for these BABIES. Barbie & Ken just love them!!! Didn't get them on purpose, but I'm keeping them in My collection anyway. Maybe good for CAMPING?!! They are awesome if I was a little person &/or I didn't need reading glasses!!! I don't ride the SUBWAY or BUSSES, but that seems like a good venue for them. I'd take a larger version, SMALL, on the TRAIN if I ever road one. Maybe they would be good on the tray on a long AIRPLANE ride?!!

I have tried to replace my old decks thinking the energies will not show up ever again. But, I have been mistaken. Tarot is not for the weak. The Thoth tarot has catapulted my spirituality in ways I have imagined and seen since a young buck. Although it is intuitive, it requires a lot of reading, and like a detective you will need to find clues and figure it out to get to the deeper end of things. I like to use it with the art oracles and the kipper. You can easily get the surface meaning of the message by layering the cards on top of each other and laugh your tail off! My favorite of all time.

Plenty of people have plenty of things to say about this deck. I'll just comment on the format and printing. This is definitely a "pocket" deck -- it's easy to slip into a travel bag. No excuse not to have it with you! It's great for meditation when you have a few quiet moments during a trip. Printing is bright and clear. I do wish the cards were a little bit more slippery and easier to shuffle, but it's not really much different than any other deck of this format. I would recommend keeping it in a durable bag for travel; the deck's cover is not terribly resilient, but this is typical of decks of this format. People tend to keep Tarot decks in bags anyway. In short: A great deck, with good printing and standard durability.

A good deck to have even if you choose not to use it.

There is so much confusion on the deck versions. I currently own 3 of the Thoth decks. This deck, US Game Systems printed in Belgium. The US Game Systems light purple box with 3 Magus cards. And the Swiss Deck, AGM printed in Belgium thru Tarot World. my favorite, size wise- this deck is easiest for my little hands. Art- Definitely the Swiss deck. And I like the 3 Magus cards in the lilac deck. The paintings were all the same, but the deck printings were different, ie coloring etc. This deck uses the Golden Dawn reading lost other US Game System Thoths I've seen. The Swiss deck does not. The Golden Dawn is a quite a bit different to those used to the Celtic Cross or the like. All 3 decks are very direct. I strongly suggest regular reference to "Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot " by Lon Milo Duquette. I personally think Lon Milo Duquette explains Aleister Crowley in a more "user friendly" format.

This deck is super pretty and really nice to hold and shuffle.

The version we received was 2023 (revised). Secretly hoping it will be earlier version with white border. 2023 version somehow are lighter print and not so sharp (plus it's no longer US Game System but AGM). Printed in Germany (Belgium one is better since their prints were vivid).

Nice cards, maybe too small to see all the details. I would prefer a bigger model, but their are nice as well

以前にも使用していましたが、改めて購入し直しました。 私は手が小さいのでカードが大きすぎるとカットが難しいのですが、こちらはコンパクトでとても手に馴染み扱いやすかったです！ 大きなカードを扱うのが苦手な方はとてもフィットして使いやすいのでは？と思います。 厚みも気になりませんでした。
