Worth every penny. BUY THIS, STAT
I never thought i could fall in love with a faucet. Im EXTREMELY satisfied and would give it 10 stars. Solid quality, sleek look and I live that the sprayer resets when you turn it off. And the sprayer is powerful. A definite recommendation. Its not large and clunky either. Very nice edition to the look of our kitchen

Very pleased at the price on Amazon, REVISED DOWN, SEE UPDATE
Update 2024-06-27: It has failed inside the "hub" of the faucet. Water leaks down the tube that connects to the sprayer. Can't recommend. Not going to attempt warranty service, as I'll put in a new faucet today and can't waste time on what others have reported is not a smooth support experience. Too bad, Grohe was an excellent brand years ago, but it's time for me to move on to a better quality/price product. UPDATE: This is still an excellent faucet, but I now strongly advise against buying this model, because the very specialized aerator is not available anywhere. I live in an area with hard water, and have to replace the aerators on our faucets every year when the calcium buildup can no longer be removed without destroying them. This faucet uses a very unusual dual-function aerator that handles both the spray and the normal stream. Most pulldown faucets have an aerator for the stream and separate holes for the spray - not this one. The Grohe website shows the part as discontinued, and you will not find it anywhere on the Internet (I found one at a plumbing supply in the UK for ยฃ24 !). It would be like buying a car and, after a year, learning that you couldn't get an oil filter for it anywhere. So be warned in advance: don't buy that car, no matter how much you like it! I've written to Grohe, and if they reply, I'll update this review again, but so far just crickets. ====== This is considered a middle-of-the-road contemporary faucet in Europe, where this style is very popular. Grohe faucets are generally well made and attractive, and this one's no exception. The laminar flow is a very trendy, deluxe feature, although now you can add it to pretty much any faucet by replacing the standard aerator with a laminar flow type. That said, the typical retail price of this faucet is around $300, and Amazon is currently selling it for under $200, so a pretty good value. You can spend five times that much on a faucet that looks and works no better. It would be hard to spend less. If you have a bit of experience installing European faucets, this one goes in very quickly. If you don't, you might run into problems. One problem I've seen mentioned is that it leans a bit. The main reason for this is that there's a rubber o-ring that sits on the sink or counter surface underneath the faucet "trunk", and if this isn't perfectly lined up, the whole thing will be tilted a bit. Another problem that people have is that the sprayer hose should be inserted in the arm before the arm is attached to the trunk, or it will be difficult to get the hose properly inserted. The instructions aren't very clear - again, if you haven't installed European faucets. Once installed, everything worked fine. As a review on another website said, it took longer to remove the old faucet than to install this one (but that's actually the norm). My one small complaint: it take a bit of force to swing the arm around, as there's more friction on this arm than on some other faucets. I don't expect this to be a problem, but the older faucet swung around pretty easily. Overall, a good value on an attractive, good-quality faucet.

BEST SINK EVER
It just works way better than any other sink fixture Ive used. Feels expensive and well-engineered. Easiest install compared to the last one. The way the base tightens to the countertop at the end is pretty clever and makes a ton of sense- leave it to the Germans. UPDATE: My joy has been short-lived. 2.5 years later this sink is starting to give me a headache. No leaks, still shuts on and off smoothly, great-- but the sprayer head is no longer functioning correctly- the toggle switch seems to be stuck on "spray mode" and it's been starting to make a strange buzzing noise when I run the water. Since this is the part of the sink I actually interact with the most, it's annoying. Research seems to indicate that I can't just order a replacement for this spray end. Are you kidding me? Two years seems to be too short of a timespan for this to already be showing signs of breaking down. I suppose its possible I simply got a bad one. UPDATE: I discovered that Grohe stands behind a great warranty on their products. I called their customer service and they sent me a new sprayer head for free. Restored to 5 stars!

Highly functional, spray needs improvement.
Stream setting is very quiet, quality is overall very good and I really like the texture as well as the functionality. The only small drawback is that the spray pattern is less of a spray and more like 12 small streams. Switching from high-flow on the ultra-quiet stream setting to the spray can often cause a mess and a lot of overspray. If the spray pattern were more spray then this is 5 stars.

Broken spray head
Pretty faucet, and when it works it's nice. But we've had it for a couple of years, and had to replace the spray head twice - it eventually gets stuck on the spray mode and cannot change it. I wish I hadn't bought it - even though it's sleek and modern, don't really want to replace the spray head once a year. When I reached out to Grohe customer service they gave me 10% off, not very helpful. I recommend finding something that's higher quality.

Beautiful faucet that works great.
Beautiful slim sleek faucet that works great. I love the spray that is narrow and forceful getting plates pre-washed great. Maybe not good for someone wanting to use it to wash a dog or child though, but great for pots and dishes. I would prefer that the spray stays on when you shut water instead of having to press the spray option each time but not too big a deal I would recommend.

GROHE LOW QUALITY * AVOID
My remodelling expert told me that "Grohe" makes a great faucet. Wow was he mistaken. Since remodelling drags on many months, a long time went by, before we tried installing it. FIRST BIG problem, you need the 3-hole to 1-hole adapter, which was NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PURCHASE. So now I got dug in deeper. After spending $175 on the faucet, now I got to spend another $50 on the adapter which was a rare item, hard to find and order. Then we installed it. Yuck! All the hoses come out thru 1 narrow brass tube at its base. There is HOT, COLD, and there is HOSE OUT and HOSE IN, because this model has the rinser which is on a hose. Guess what, those 4 hoses are hopeleslly choked together, the rinser will NOT go up and down properly, the faucet is JUNK, AND WAIT there is more. BECAUSE I was months into a remodel, and we even threw out the box, what does that say? Says I could NOT return it. We thought it was a good faucet, we didn't test it out early. We got fooled, now I am out the cost of this faucet, AND the cost of the $50 adapter plate. Threw it all into the garbage can, KA BLAM, SLAM,, and bought this American Standard instead. https://www.amazon.com/American-Standard-4175300F15-002-PULL-DOWN-Polished/dp/B005HEE136/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=american+standard+kitchen+faucet&qid=1580070555&sr=8-5 I was NOT impressed, I wanted a super-quality faucet, but it's HALF the money, so we are KEEPING the American Standard while the Grohe is at the bottom of my garbage can. Out in the driveway, waiting for trash day so I never see it again. Bye bye $225 I am very sad.

poor quality
intially I was impressed with the faucet. But after only 1 year, the finish is coming off and the faucet now always defaults to spray mode when the tap is turned on.

US FITTING NOT FOR UK
Nice tap but an absolute nightmare to fit because its not a UK fitting is for the US market. Took my plumber many trips to the plumb shop to try to find the right fitting. What would have been helpful is is the seller had said you need the adapter kit if you are a UK buyer. Grohe sell this kit so I can only presume they are just too lazy/ thoughtless to add this all important piece of information for UK buyers. Very very annoyed, has cost me far more money to have this fitted than necessary.

US fittings caused problems in UK
Beautiful tap, very high quality, however if you are in the U.K. it was not clear that the fitting were for the US market and therefore we had to get a plumber to fit it, and even he struggled and had to get special parts.
