will this remote work with the AVH 170 DVD player?

I'm not sure it might work, as most of the features in the remote are only intended for a Car Radio CD/MP3 Player and not for a DVD player. Features like VOLUME UP/VOLUME DOWN, Source, Power, ATT, etc might work universally, but that does not it works with a specific Car DVD Player. I've never tried it.
