Very strong adhesive, which is exactly what you want but it makes it a pain to get off. Most cable sizes fit in including some power cables but not the extremely thick ones that you get on gaming laptop power adapters. I have a wireless mouse that has its own battery and I always hated having to stop my game and plug in the cable and thread it through to the other side of my desk so having the holder makes it so easy, all I have to do is pull it out and plug in. Very useful neat and convenient

Such a simple device, but a major quality of life upgrade if you're someone like me who has lots of devices and is always losing cables down the back of my desk. I have a few of them side by side to hold all my cables. They're reasonably priced, hold cables well, are fixed firmly to the desk and look good to boot. They're not too big or obtrusive and they're solidly built. My fishing cables down from behind the desk days are over! (There are better song titles out there...)

Holds cables well and does the job I wanted, ie tidy up cables. I haven’t tried the adhesive strip so can’t comment on the stickability, but the wood effect is peeling off.
