works perfectly, worth the price.
I can't belive it for the price, but this was amazing. The speeds are incredible and it stores all that it claims to. And as a bonus it locks into place when closed and fully opened so that it does not slide back into the case when you are trying to plug it in to your computer. Some of the Samsung ones do this and yet they are still much more expensive. All in all I think this is definitely worth the money and while your at it you might want to pick up a few of them before they realize that they could charge much more

Very Good
Just received it yesterday, so I can't go too in depth with my review, but this is the best flash drive I've worked with yet! I only use the flash drive to play music in my truck. It connects directly to the USB in my MP3 in-dash player. I swear I've had nothing but problems with the last three USB flash drives that I've had over the past 2 1/2 years. I had a Patriot that was a lot of money, supposedly one of the best, and it crapped out after 6 months. It was able to read all folders on the computer, but the in-dash car MP3 player wouldn't recognize any of the folders. Same thing happened with a Corsair flash drive, and the same with a SanDisk. All of those USB's wouldn't read many of the folders that I would create on the computer. I'd create a folder, only to plug it in the car, and the folder was nowhere to be found. This ADATA is the first one that does what it's supposed to do. I create a folder, put music into it, and it reads ALL folders on the computer, AND in the car. No problem! This USB feels extremely sturdy, also. As long as this one doesn't crap out on me, I'm a perfectly happy customer.

Really Good Price for 3.0 Performance
These are fairly new to me and I have to admit that as of this writing I have not used it yet. I do have a USB 3.0 capable PC so I am sure that when the opportunity arrives these flash drives will perform with reliability and blazing speed. Sorry could not be more helpful. I will update this review after usage if anything changes in my opinion.

A well made product but with one big limitation
I enjoy Adata products, they are inexpensive and work well. A nice attribute for an inexpensive Chinese made product is that I have nave had an Adata product fail on me, which sets it apart in my book. I use their products for non-mission critical use so I thick they are idea for home use and non-critical corporate use. This flash drive is no different. I like the caplets design, since caps always fall off eventually. This one is nice because the button that slides the USB connector locks in both the retracted and extended position, and the contrasting button color makes it easy to see and remember that its a slider. There is really only one characteristic I want to illuminate to you before you consider purchasing this product and that is its speed. This is advertised as a USB 3.0 product and by using System Profiler on my Mac, I verified that this device is reporting that its connected at USB3 at 5Gbps, which is exactly what we expect. What I did not expect is the 7.4 Mbps Write speed I measured using Back Magic Speed Test. The Read speed is quite good at 38.8 and I'm perfectly happy with that especially considering how inexpensive this unit was at the time I purchased it. 7.4 Mbps Write speed is so slow (relatively speaking) that a regular USB 2.0 flash drive could out run it. This is not such a big deal if you match your needs to the device. In my case I wanted to make an emergency restore flash drive for OS X Mavericks that was just released. Yes, I know its a free download but just in case someone does something to their machine that inexplicably renders it unable to connect to any network, I wanted to be able to restore the OS in just a few minutes. Thats where this Adata USB 3.0 flash drive comes in. Any flash drive will do, and until recently we only used USB 2.0 flash drives, most of which are pitifully slow, so we slowly restored or upgraded our OS's with the turtle-like flash drives and just waited. I was hoping for more from this Adata flash drive, with its USB 3.0 capability and I did get more that the truly pitiful USB 2.0 flash drives that litter my drawer, some of which can barely Read and Write at 1 Mbps. Since I only need to write to this flash drive once, to install OS X Mavericks on it, then in the future it will only be used to Read from for each installation, the slow Write speed did not bother me, it didn't take very long to install the 5GB operating system on it, and the great part is that it Reads so fast that it does a reasonable job installing Mavericks onto other machines. If this pattern suits you then you will probably like this drive. Its built robustly, has to cap to lose, the USB 3.0 connector retracts and locks in place like an Exacto knife and its faster than any other flash drive at this amazingly low price point.

Decent speed, no cap to lose - and NO JUNKWARE!
I use these to distribute materials for a software development class. They have decent speed. With a thumb-driven sleeve instead of a cap, there's nothing to fumble around with when using them. I've used about 60 or 70 of these so far, and I have not seen a single failure. They are plastic instead of metal, so I don't recommend them for carrying around on a keychain or in your pocket. But for routine office use, I think they are fine. They have one major characteristic I demand in my class material flash drives: they have no junkware. There are no files of any kind on these drives when they come out of the package. That means I get to forego the step of erasing junk on them before putting on my own files.

Wont do USB3, otherwise Works Great, Connector is Protected and Played HD 1080P Movies Perfectly
It works fine transferring large movie files from my laptop to the ADATA as USB2 but will not work as USB3. Other mfr flash work find as usb3 on my laptop. The storage size allows about 6+ full length HD movies to be stored. the flash drive was recognized by all the devices I used and transferred data from the laptop and to the Sony Bluray player where I played the movies directly from the flash drive. The connector retractor is nice as it protects the USB connector from damage when carrying in your pocket in computer case and eliminates the eventual loss of a unattached protective cap. The device would have been more perfect if it had loop to attached to a key chain but the photo is clearly shows there is not one and I made the purchase knowing that. My laptop supposedly has USB 3 and I would get messages when attached it that I should move it to another USB to get the full speed. So Im not sure if it was operating at the max speed and if this was a computer, driver or other problem. I can say it played HD 1080P 60Hz movies perfectly..
