I was specifically looking for a med-large square folding softbox and really there are very few out there to begin with. Then I came upon this little gem for less than half what I would expect to pay.I use Einsteins (Paul C. Buff) lighting, and although their softboxes are very good and reasonably priced, they didn't have a square format.This appears to be of similar quality, with the added bonus of- speedring is interchangeable if you wanted another mounting option- grid is included (which costs $$ everywhere else)- a second "warming" diffusion panel included which is warmer than the neutral panel and internal baffleNot sure why a user had problems with fitting an Alien Bee to a Balcar mount since they are the same thing, but this fits perfectly. All in all, an extremely good buy if you need a square format softbox that is big.

I received this from Amazon. Much lighter and less stiff than alien bee softbox. I will see if it lasts. But so far seems like a good product. Fits snugly on my AB light and works well. No complaints. I need another one and will buy it.

Would've loved this item if it were what I ordered. I ordered an alienbee mount and received a balcar mount. Which is useless to me and ruined the shoot I purchased this for. Very disappointed.

Great value, built well. No issues at all. Would get another in a heartbeat
