I originally received the blue JBL Flip 5 as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago, and I loved it so much that I came back and bought a second one in pink. That’s probably the best compliment I can give this speaker!For such a compact speaker, it packs an incredible amount of sound. It’s loud, clear, and easy to take anywhere. Whether I’m at home, by the river, or hanging out with friends, it’s the perfect size to throw in a bag and go.I even accidentally dropped my first Flip 5 in the river (tubing and had to swim search for it lol) and it still worked perfectly afterward. The waterproof feature definitely lived up to its claims!The battery life is another thing I love. It lasts a long time, even with regular use, and when it does need charging, it charges pretty quickly. Overall, I’ve had nothing but great experiences with JBL. The Flip 5 has been reliable, durable, and well worth the money. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker. <3333

works great. JBL is a good brand as it is, so really can't go wrong. I bought this so my wife can Bluetooth the tv in the bedroom to it and have it sitting on the nightstand rather than the tv turned way up. works great for that. The sound quality is exactly what you would expect from JBL and it last all night on a full charge. would recommend for the price.

PROS:It does have really clean crisp sound; it picks up those lows and highs really well.The bass sounds good but its not very strong bass, not like a punch but its good.Battery life is great and the look of the speaker is cool.(i got the ash gray color because red wasn't an option at the time)I like the party-boost option to pair another Flip5 with another to make bigger stereo sound.(It appears they will be dual mono until you click the party boost button twice to split the sound into 2 speakers like stereo.)CONS:It says you can control it with the app, but for the Flip5 the only options you have is renaming the Bluetooth connection (can even use vulgarity lol), turn off/on the button/startup/shutdown noises, check for updates, and it shows the battery percentage. There are no EQ settings or anything else for this BT speaker.The price of $80ish is a little steep to me considering the lack of EQ option.Additional info-I also ordered a Soundcore Anker 3 BT speaker as it was supposed to be comparable to the Flip 5 at almost half the price.I can tell you the Soundcore app does have EQ settings and a Bass-up mode, but... no matter what settings you try it does not compare to the great quality sound from the Flip5. The SC 3 on factory audio settings sounds ok and ok at louder volumes but again it does not even come close to the Flip5. I am in the process of returning the SC3 as I speak.

I’m really happy with this speaker. The sound is clear, the bass is impressive for its size, and it connects to Bluetooth in seconds. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and the battery lasts a long time. I’ve used it indoors and outside, and it performs great every time.

Probably the best sound you can get from such a small speaker at this price. Unfortunately, I had to return since my expectation was not met may be because my living room was large size for this product to deliver. But certainly good to carry on a trip or listening on the go.
