TAILONZ 1/4"NPT Pneumatic Pressure Regulator AR2000

Used it 1 day so far as a regulator in combination with a 3/8 whip lead for our plasma cutter setup... Couldn't be happier! Ordered at 7:30am was here later that day... saved me a trip to the store, and hell for the price its built even better than the Lowe's and hardware store versions anyway. Crazy. I'll probably buy a few more and setup air tool hookups ar benches throughout the garage. Dont hesitate. Buy it.

The first regulator that arrived didn't function quite properly. I contacted TaiLonz simply to ask if we had an error on our side, and they immediately offered to send a new unit without ever being asked to do so. New unit arrived today, our guy installed it, and it works like a charm! Super happy with this seller!

This package comes with all you need to replace the regulator on your compressor. The housing is nice, the gauge is clear and easy to read, and the package includes several different fittings, including a shutoff valve. The knob lifts up to turn, and then pushes back down to lock. The plastic does feel a little cheap, but I rarely change the pressure so I dont expect any issues.

The tool is well made and seems to function exactly as expected. The delivery was quick. My only negative is that the tool came only with a parts list. It won't do me any good because the manufacturer's name or address arn't on the tool or packaging.

Found out that I had a leak on one side ports due to bad 1/4" NPT threads on the body; about 4 threads in. I did use a small amount of teflon tape, maybe 3 to 4 wraps, on the included couplers however did not make a difference since the threads on the body was not very good. I ended up getting a replacement through Amazon, but the replacement came in a relabeled box and was missing all 4 couplers. So I ended up returning for credit. 5 stars for Amazon's return service, 0 stars for inconvenience, lost time, and crappy QA on the product. I just noticed that there were other reviews on here that experienced the same cross threading issue also. On the positive, the price is right if you can get a working set. The brass couplers themselves are nice quality and have consistent threading on them. The quick connect couplers were also nice quality, though i'm unsure of the material. Good luck!

It started out well… Then, not so much. First the good. Nice looking gage, easy to read and adjust, quality appearance. Then the not so good. I first tested it directly at my compressor. Up and down the scale, it matched my compressor readings. Then I stretched out 100 ft. of air hose and connected to my air nailer tool. I then noticed that with each successive nail, the gauge would vary by 10-20 PSI from the reading at my compressor. If it stayed consistent, I would have been fine with it, but it jumped around, so it was useless. When I sent it back for a return, I disassembled the unit to get it back to the condition it came in and saw no thread tape or anything blocking the air path in the gauge. So, unless you are a gambler, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this product.

Was used with a bubbler system allowing regulation of air in bottom of parts washer.
