Beautiful Secret (The Beautiful Series) Review: Absolutely loved it! - I'm new to this author and I was highly skeptical. But boy I have ZERO regrets. I feel like I've ventured and found a whole new level of my favorite genre while reading this series. I feel like I've never read such intense and passionate relationships in my life. I started off this series all out of order but that hadn't been an issue at all. I started off with Will & Hannah's story first and I thought this my favorite of the series without a doubt. Making me hesitant to read the others because I couldn't possibly like them as good too. I was wrong. Very, very wrong. I read the first book in the series and I liked that one but when I got to Max and Sara's story, I thought this is it. This has got to be my favorite book. I had never read anything like it. I was charmed but Niall's appearance in that book so I thought to give this book a try and I have to say I am totally in love. I loved EVERYTHING about this book. I have to admit I fell in love with the hero as soon as I read he was reserved. It touched on my fondness for shy guys, like my significant other. Shy, reserved guys don't usually make an appearance in Novels, especially not as the hero and usually come across more creepy than endearing. Not the case with Niallstella. His name is all one word because apparently that's how the heroine saw it. The constant use of his first and last name were a tiny bit annoying by the end and I thought the amount of time Ruby stayed away was a but much by the end but that's is me just trying to find something to complain about because honestly this book is amazing. The hero was great but the heroine Ruby was amazing as well and that's quickly becoming one of my favorite things about this author. The heroines in all the books I've read on this series so far ALL are intelligent successfully kick ass women who aren't weakened or made to choose between their love and careers or accomplishments. Women in the romance genre can be many times be turned into the damsel in distress being saved by the hero. And that's all good and we'll sometime you need saving and sometimes you need to be the one to do the saving but it bothers me when a love story overpowers a heroine. When there needs to be a choice between work and love for example. The topic comes up in some of the books in this series and it did in this in one too, but the way it is overcome and written was beautifully done and is exactly how it should be. More than anything I loved that. I could go on raving about this book forever so let me close with this. It was captivating (I couldn't put it down like all of the books from the series) , intense, sweet, and PASSIONATE. Man this author know how to write passion. GO ON AND READ IT! Review: I liked the story, but didn't like the fact that a third person was so critical to the main characters relationship. - I liked these authors for their ability to create new refreshing interesting characters. I have pre- order this book so I read it as soon as it became available and before I read any reviews. However, I just read the reviews and have to disagree with most of them. I did like the characters very much but part of the story got on my nerves. Niall is adorable but too confused for my like. Ruby was iinteresting, fun and very understanding. Spoiler Alert --- I understand that he is over Portia but the damage to him due to that marriage has made him so insecure that he compares EVERYTHING with his marriage. I got so tired of hearing about Portia, at some point it is clear that somehow she was going to show up and cause trouble. I understood Ruby and how she managed the situation, that was incredibly generous of her part. But he wouldn't stop bringing Portia into their relationship even in the most important moments of their intimacy. Again, I like these authors and I think they could have achieved the goal of telling Niall's story and reasons for having issues moving forward with a new relationship with Ruby without making Portia present as the most important part of their relationship. For crying out loud every time they made a step forward they took a step back because of his past relationship with Portia. I REALLY got tired of her. However, Rudy, I was completely taken by her. In my understanding she was more mature than a 23 year old and that worked to Niall's advantage. The book starts slow and it takes a slow pace for them to fully consummate their relationship. In every step of the way we were told every detail and every though and hesitation and the reasons for it. However, when it finally happens, when they fully consummate their relationship, we find out the day after and just two lines about it, which contradicts the flow that was already established before. Then, hell break loose, and everything that can go wrong goes wrong, which is ok. Rudy looses her job, looses her confidence and trust in Niall. She breaks up with Niall and needs time to get herself together and let months passed without communication between them, felt like the end of Beautiful Bastard. Then, everything is corrected and the story abruptly ends. Ends nicely but if felt that it was a bit rushed, maybe there is a novella that will follow, like some of the other "Beautiful" stories, I hope that is the case. No worries, we get the HEA. I give 4 stars because I really got tired of Portia and how fast the story ends.

I really loved each and every book in the Beautiful-Series (well some were a bit short, but..) but this one is something else. I chucked it down in one go. It’s just got everything and more you like in a good romance/smut-book. Lovable and charismatic protagonists, hot sex or very hot non-sex (without spoiling) scenes you just dive in with your imagination and funny and witty conversations. Christina Lauren-books are never cheap but they’re worth every penny. And the book ends at 100%. Some are willing to learn ;) Loved the book and you’ll agree!!

Niall could not be more unlike the other male characters in this series. He is the polar opposite in many many ways to his brother, Max. Niall has only had sex with his ex-wife and that relationship was colder than the North Pole!! Ruby has admired her senior colleague from afar for months. Niall Stella owns her heart and secret fantasies but he barely knows she exists.....until work throws them together. When these two register for real on each other's radar......WHOA!!!! Talk about a slow burn. This is one HOT book. Ruby and Niall compliment each other beautifully. This is such an intense love affair. Fantastic writing and character development.Niall is so awkwardly gauche in some ways. His innocence was sweet but crikey~ what a man he is underneath. Mr Darcy has competition I think. Ruby is one of the very best female characters I have read in a while. She made the book for me. My heart ached for her at times. I could have cheerfully slapped Niall upside the head at one point on her behalf. Excellent sexy, funny, intense, sweet and unforgettable book.

Esperando la versión traducida al español, pero me adelanté con ésta y no me ha defraudado. Niall se aleja del prototipo de playboy, me ha encandilado.
