I've tested it with RAVPower 60W 5-Port Power Delivery Desktop Charging Station, which can supply 15V at 3A. Using this cable with a compatible multi-port charger makes it possible to carry fewer chargers and cables when travelling.My Surface Pro 4 originally came with a 12V charger (Model number: 1625), but on the inside of its kickstand, it is specified that for charging it requires 12-15V at 1.6-2.58A. Microsoft has a support page titled 'How to charge Surface', which lists the parameters for the official chargers if anyone is concerned if their version support 15V charging.

Charges my surface pro with no issues. Remember and use a PD power source

Maybe on the flimsy side, but works fine with my Surface Pro 3. A bit expensive for what it is though.

It does charge your Surface device, but only if plugged in with the cable pointing downwards. Also, the led worked for like a day and the broke immediately. Save yourself some time and look for a better quality cable.

It doesn't work. I had hoped that this would as it means I could reduce bulk on my travels. However this wasn't the case.

Works perfect

Received the cable today. Quality wise the cable seems well made but when I plugged it in to my USB hub it did not appear to provide enough power to my Surface Book 2.Will try it again with a higher rated charger to see if that makes a difference.
