How well would this work on the Hoyt Defiant 34?

I have a carbon defiant 34" and it works great. I will say that when I got it, it was very stiff and hard to open the arms, now the spring has worn out after months of repeated use and doesn't balance my bow anymore- to its defense, my bow probably weighs close to 9 lbs with all of the added accessories.

Are you able to shoot with it still on your bow?

No, do not shoot with it attached to you bow.

Is this the mini or the full size?

I believe it's full size as I didn't know they made a 'mini'. My Mathews compound is an adult bow and it works very well. Holds the bow with no problem.
