With all the things I have to pack up and bring to the beach with little ones, it’s nice to have something so convenient, lightweight, and easy to carry along. It’s very large and rolls out of the carry bag effortlessly to cover a large amount of the ground, easily fits five adults or a family with all their gear comfortably, and yet packs up neatly and compactly in less than 10 seconds into its accompanying drawstring stuff bag. This mat is made with quality parachute nylon material, constructed for durable outdoor use, and is waterproof, sandproof, and heat resistant. You can lay it on damp ground or wet grass and the moisture and water won’t seep through. There are six corner pockets that you can fill with sand or rocks to weight it down and make it windproof, and also four sand stakes for ground or beach. Beach sand slides right off and doesn’t stick to it, and is very easy to wipe clean. It also washes well, I put mine in the washing machine on gentle cycle, and air dried it. Large and light weight. The only thing bad is the stitching. The loops for the anchors gave out on first use, but some stones works to keep it down. Water proof and easy to clean. It’s very thin, no padding or cushion.

I like the nice size. Being waterproof, sand doesn't stick to it. So when you are done shake it a little, fold and ready to go. No more sand in your vehicle. Also works well for watching parades. Lightweight so easy to carry.

Sand doesnt go through this at all. Not worth the money. It's an overpriced piece of thin tarp basically.

For the record this is much bigger than I expected. I like the pockets on the side to hold sand and the stakes , but I didn’t like the material which feels like a parachute nylon material and feels very thin- it is not soft at all.

It was a good light material and easy to fold back up for later use... however I was under the impression the sand goes through the mat... and it did not do that at all.

Larger than expected. Not easy to fold, but doesnt really need to be folded perfectly to store it. Definitely better than having a sandy blanket! I would recommend!
