Buy Our Sea Turtles: A Practical Guide for the Atlantic and Gulf, from Canada to Mexico on desertcart.com ✓ FREE SHIPPING on qualified orders Review: "ABOVE EXPECTATIONS" - I love this book. I carry it around like a three year old with a favorite blanket. I have been searching for a book like this that is not too big and bulky. When on turtle patrol from May to October, I have a number of items that I carry in my rucksack, therefore I was definitely not looking for a coffee table book. I was looking for illustrations of predator trackings and a list of behaviors that these predators leave behind but most of all a more in depth study of the sea turtles themselves. I believe that the more educated that I can become, the more that I can help protect these beautiful creatures. We do not want the next few generations to have to refer to history books that by far would never compete with the joy, wonderment and total surreal experience of seeing them come up out of the sea to lay their eggs or a frenzy of a hundred tiny turtle tots making their way to the sea. This book does just what it was intended to do. The graphics and detail are well above my expectations compared to others that I have purchased in the past. If your looking for a more in depth book with easy, clear education that you can understand without having a PhD in Marine Biology this book is perfect. Review: So much information - I was on vacation and saw this book at the turtle hospital. I never did buy it on vacation. When I got home I noticed it was on here and bought it. So glad that I did. There is so much information and pictures. Ita my daughters favorite book at the moment.

Incredible - Much Better than expected
I bought this for myself as a gift. This is the best organized non-fiction/reference book I have ever owned. Not only is the information on Sea Turtles very detailed and thorough, the way it is organized in the book makes it easy to navigate. The layout of the text and photos also is truly in a class of its own. If I had any idea how much I would love this book and how much I would learn about Sea Turtles from this book I would have bought it a couple years ago. I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon this book. I would be willing to say to anyone that you will not be disappointed in this book if you love Sea Turtles.

There are so many surprises in nature.
As a novice yet avid fan of these wonderful tortoises, I was fascinated with this book. I read most of it in one evening. I shared it with a friend who was also surprised with a sea turtle's fingerlike attributes. This is an interesting book for anyone with curiosity.

Everything you wanted to know and then some
This is a great book. It was recommended to me by our marine biologist where I volunteer at a sea turtle conservation center. Has tons of great information on all of the species in our area. Its a book that I read and then reread to pick up additional information each time. Highly recommend

Beautiful book for anyone who loves turtles of all shapes and sizes! Bought for my ten year old and she loved it. I loved it too. Would be great to take on trips to the beach. It has a slim shape and not bulky. Great colourful pages, well written. Probably too difficult to read for kids but it’s an amazing reference book! Nice to flip through and read on and off in and out.
